Contentment seems to be an underrated virtue among the youths nowadays. We are not satisfied with what we have because we are always looking for the quickest way to be successful or to be rich. We can't wait to save our lives from destruction because we fail to realise that the path way to true success and riches is through patience and contentment in what you have presently. If there is anything I will continue to pray for, that would be "the grace to be contented with what I have whether it's little or much." Having contentment as a youth will give you advantage over others because you will attract God's favour and blessings. So many youths has been duped and killed because they failed to be contented with what they have. Look, I'm not saying you shouldn't aim higher and seek to be more successful than where you presently are. What I'm saying is never be too carried away by what you see or by what people say especially when they are trying to gain your attention to some uncertain sources of their riches. Stay focused on God's plan for your life. Believe in God's plan and time for you.
It's so sad to hear and read about youths engaging in dubious activities in the name of getting riches. Unfortunately, these riches don't last long and sooner or later they'll bring sorrow, pain and shame to them I've been tempted to compromise my standards as a Christian, but I'm fully focused on God's plan for me.
I won't allow anyone to push me to do things I will later regret doing in my life. I'd rather have little with a peace of mind than great riches without peace of mind.
And don't despise little beginning because that's the first step into greatness. Learn to appreciate the little you have now. Don't join the people that are not realistic about life. Don't allow people to decide for you. Sit down and think, pray for godly wisdom and grace to do the right things while you are waiting on God.
My salary is less than #30k but I keep on doing what I love and have passion for because I'm so focused on where God is taking me to. Be positive about life. If life throws lemons at you use those lemons to make lemonade without any delay or complain. As a youth you have places to go in life, your story to greatness will be an inspiration to the upcoming generations if you choose the right path to greatness. Don't stop believing in yourself and don't stop believing in God. I'm not where I want to be yet but I'm getting there with God by my side.
Don't be discouraged keep doing great!!!
