The Inward Matters

I hope you'll find time to read this post of mine and not only the quotes. "He's handsome and rich."
"She's pretty and sexy."
We are in a generation where the way and how a man/woman looks determine whether we want to be in any relationship with them or not. We are so carried away with what we see that we seem to neglect what we perceive about them.
We are in the days where social media seem to dictate to us how we live our lives, both individually and collectively. We have forgotten that each of us is unique in his or her own way. We allow the society to enslave us to become what we are suppose to.

Being rich or broke doesn't sum up the character of a man or woman. Being handsome/pretty or ugly doesn't predict how a man or woman will be inwardly. Unfortunately, some people are now enduring their relationships and marriages because of their negligence to properly know the person they thought they were in love with or they refused to noticed the warning signs in that man or woman when they were dating or courting. They were so overwhelmed with lust sadly. Whether you show cleavages or six-pack for the world to see, that doesn't make you the ideal woman or man for him or her.
We don't have to allow people to think for us on how to make our relationships or marriages successful. You and I can think for ourselves. We can't follow the advice of the Pharisees and Sadduces of our time, who only talk the talk but never going to walk the walk. You have the power to make your relationship or marriage a successful one without any outside influences but God alone.

And sadly, some of you think one needs to be in a relationship before he or she can know what it entails. Your single life is meant to be a time for you to learn. Don't be in any hurry to get yourself involved in any relationship. Allow God to teach and guide how to be a wonderful man and woman for that woman or man whom God is preparing for you. God bless you as you do so.
