you made your way to boyd's lunch table with stiles to get the keys to the ice rink. stiles was going with lydia and scott was going with allison. you were just casually tagging along.
"so, you got the keys?" stiles asked, barely even acknowledging his presence.
you slightly rolled your eyes but smirked when he replied. "you got the money?"
"uh yeah, twenty right?"
boyd narrowed his eyes. "we agreed on forty."
as you stared at him, you could see how truly lonely he was. you somehow knew he just wanted some friends.
"hey, would you maybe want to go with us?"
"what?" stiles and boyd asked at the same time.
"yeah. stiles and lydia are going together. so are allison and scott. maybe you could go with me. only if you'd like, though."
he stared at you for a few seconds before smiling widely. "yeah, i'd like that."
"so does that mean i still have to pay?" stiles asked.
"go away, stiles."
