you tried everything to help mason when you found out he was the beast. despite scott telling you to stay away since you were only human. he didn't want to lose yet another member of his pack.
but things didn't go as you planned and the beast ended up killing you. before you passed, you spoke your last words hoping that somehow, mason would hear them.
"i love you, mason. i always have and always will."
now that the beast was gone, mason was left with the haunting memory of your death. and he knew he would forever blame himself even if it wasn't his fault.
"mason, please stop blaming yourself. it wasn't your fault." scott said while driving him back home.
"i can't, scott. i loved y/n and i will always have her blood on my hands. she's dead because of me."
