Run, Ana! Corre!

Mamá Inés had passed away. The old house felt so empty. 'Let's do it!', I told my self, took a deep breath and grabbed the big plastic trash bag and walked to the attic.

The door opened making a squeaking sound. Inside, it was gloomy and smelled like mold and dust. I pulled the chain hanging from the ceiling and 'click'... Lights on.

In a corner, there was a big trunk with lots of things inside: Mamá Inés' wedding dress... a photo album. In the bottom I found a letter written with a beautiful flawless calligraphy. I read it. My hands were shaking.

'Querida Ana... If you are reading this letter... Run! He's behind you!'

I turned around. A scream choked in my throat. Something hit me in the head.... Darkness enveloped me.
