Everyone got out of the car, and lined up. Washington locked the car, and everyone followed him into the gift shop. "Line." He'd say, and you'd all get out of the clump you were in and line up again. "Good. You have 10 minutes to look around or go to the bathroom if needed, understood?" You all nodded and replied with "Yes, sir." And everyone left the line to either go to the bathroom or look around the gift shop. You just looked around the gift shop because you had nothing you needed to do.
You were talking to a nice family about the reenactment, and when it was, and your role, but you suddenly heard Washington say "Line!" You quickly excused yourself, and hurried off to line up. A few people that the guys were talking to followed, and took pictures of everyone lined up, and Washington giving orders. You thought it was strange. You did this everyday, yet people would take pictures and be amazed by it, but, then again, you all were dressed like revolutionary soldiers.
You all left the small gift shop, and you all decided to go to the battlefield, where all of the graves were. It was a nice place and had big monuments, trees, and it felt quite peaceful, but kinda creepy. Just to imagine you could be standing on someone, no matter where you were, but, then again, it's Gettysburg. You could be standing on someone anywhere, really...
I know that sounds really strange, but that's quite true. It's one of the battlefields, and there are Graves of generals, soldiers, etc. There are even real cannons in the park that were left there.
You all followed the path through the park, looking at the big monuments, reading any of the informational signs, it was strange that they turned it into a park of a sort, but many people enjoyed the peacefulness it brought. You all came upon a cannon. It was protected by some sort of coating so that it wouldn't age easily and it'd be preserved. There was also a stack of cannon balls protected in the same coat, most likely so nobody could steal any of the cannon balls.
You all left the park, and by then, it was maybe 11am. You all decided to head to the center of the town to get lunch. It'd take about an hour to walk there with all of the stopping in places, so you all started walking. You were stopped a few times to take pictures with people, which also allowed you to promote the reenactment, and then you all kept walking to the center of the town.
You were almost to the center of the town, when you were walking past a small field. You suddenly jumped when you heard someone yell 'HEAR YE, HEAR YE!" Startled, you all looked over and saw Samuel on a small wooden platform yelling. You all walked over to watch the show, assuming he was promoting the reenactment. "My name is Samuel Seabury, and I present free thoughts, on the procedings of the continental congress." He'd yell. "Oh damn, there's Samuel." You'd say, surprised.
You all watched as he gave his speech, not realizing Alexander had jumped up there and started fighting against him, and speaking over him. "ALEX! THE HELL YOU DOIN'?" you'd yell. You looked up at Washington, watching Alex fight Samuel. "You're not going to stop him?" You asked. Washington just shrugged. "This is pretty normal by now." You looked over at the guys to see them all laughing. You'd watch the feisty Alex fight the now annoyed Samuel. "THIS CONGRESS DOES NOT SPEAK FOR ME!" Samuel would yell, fighting back. Alex would scoff and say "Please, Y/N speaks much more eloquently..." he'd say, trying to push Samuel off the platform. "DON'T BRING ME INTO THIS." You'd yell, as Samuel was pushing Alex off the platform with his back. "FOR SHAME!" Samuel would yell. Alex would respond with "For the revolution!" He'd say, towards the crowd. "For shame!!" Samuel would yell out, on the verge of tears. Oh god... this has gone too far... you walked up to the small platform and grab Alexander's leg, getting his attention. "Alexander, please." He'd kneel down and say "Y/N, I'd rather be divisive, and indecisive, drop the niceties." Someone behind him would suddenly yell "SILENCE!" and push him off, which resorted into him falling onto you. A redcoat pushed him off. "A MESSAGE FROM THE KING!" They'd yell, repeatedly. John, Laf, Washington, Mulligan, and Thomas rushed over to help you and Alex up.
