"So, what is it you need, Sir?" You'd say, standing in front of Washington's desk.
"I have a message for you to deliver to the British camp." You'd get excited, but realize the man in charge of the camp had it out for you.
"Isn't that dangerous?" You'd say, tilting your head slightly.
"Well, I suppose you're right. Bring your Pistol along in case your Saber is not enough." You'd nod, and run off to your tent to get your pistol.

You'd run into your tent and head straight for the box you kept it in. You'd open the box and carefully take out your pistol. You'd close the box and walk out of the tent, only to run into someone standing at the entrance. You looked up and saw Alex and John.
"Hey, Y/N. Where you off to with that?" Alex would say, pointing to your pistol.
"Washington wants me to deliver a letter to the British General." You'd say, standing up tall and proud.
"Well, be careful. Don't let them kidnap you or anything." John would say, in a worried tone.
"I won't. I know how to defend myself." You'd say, walking off back to Washington's tent.

You'd get to his tent and listen in. He was talking to some people, so you may as well wai-
"Come in, Y/N." He'd yell from the inside of the tent. You pushed aside the flap of the tent, and walk in. You looked at the 2 people he was talking to, some familiar faces. Lafayette, and Lee. You'd scoot away from Lee, and closer to Lafayette as you walked in. "Alright, Y/N. The letters I give you are very important. Never open them, and do not lose them." You'd nod. "Yes, sir!" He'd nod in reply. "Good. Lee, go get the letter please and give it to Y/N. Y/N, you may go get your horse. Lee will bring the letter to you." You'd nod and walk out of the tent. "Lafayette, you're dismissed." Lafayette would nod and run after you. You'd look at Laf.
"Why are you following me?" You'd say, tilting your head.
"I do not want you alone with Lee." He'd say in a cold voice. You'd laugh.
"Neither do I."

You'd get to your horse and untie him from the post, and Lee came up to you. "Ugh, the French fry is with you." Lafayette only seemed to get angrier every time Lee even breathed. You'd sigh, and put your hand on Laf's shoulder telling him to calm down. He sighed and looked at you, and you looked back at Lee.
"Alright, give me the letter." You'd say holding your hand out.
He'd smirk, and hold it out to you. "Come and get it."
You'd sigh, and walk over to Lee to grab it, making sure Lafayette stayed back. Lee suddenly grabbed your wrist, and slapped you across the face. You'd fall onto the ground, and Laf grabbed you and pulled you back. 2 other people ran over. 1 of them grabbed you and tried to make sure you were ok, while Lafayette and another person beat the shit out of Lee. You shook your head, clearing your vision. You looked at the person holding you, and it was John. You looked at the person helping Laf beat the shit out of Lee, and it was Alex. Lee ran off, and Laf and Alex ran over to help you. Alex stood you up, and you regained your balance.
"Are you ok, Y/N????" John would say, looking worried. You'd nod, rubbing your cheek.
"Yes, I'm fine. Now, I gotta go deliver this letter." You'd say, getting on your horse.
"Wow, you just got slapped by Lee, and you have a red mark on your cheek, yet, you still decide delivering a letter is more important than laying down." Alex would say, chuckling.
"Y/N, mon amie, non. You cannot go alone." Lafayette would say, grabbing your hand.
"It's the only choice I got." You'd say, securing the letter in your pocket.
"I'll go with you. I'm on break right now, anyway." John would say, walking up to your horse.
You didn't oblige. It'd be nice to have some company with you anyway. You'd scoot forward in the saddle, and help John climb on.
"Be careful." Alex would say, running off, Lafayette following.
"We will!" You'd call out. You'd look back at John. "Hold on tight." John would wrap his arms around your waist tightly.
"Will do." He'd say, putting his head on your back, snuggling into your hair. You'd roll your eyes at John's adorable ways. If anyone was a child still like you, it'd be John. You'd set Amerigo to start the journey to the British camp.
