Last day.

Today, is the last day.

This was the last day of the reenactment.

The battle of Yorktown had ended, and all that was left to do, was pack up. Today, everyone would pack up and head home before this evening. We would be back home on Wednesday, which marked the first day of spring break. You decided once you finished packing, you'd go and visit your friends. Angelica, Eliza, and Peggy would definitely want to see you before spring break, George and Samuel would as well. You were in your tent, packing up your belongings. You neatly folded your clothes and blankets, and put them in your backpack. Once you finished, you dropped your bag into the car, then took down your tent, along with the help of Alex, Washington, Laf, John, and Mulligan. Which they did most of the work, so you pretty much only helped... but you felt pretty good about it.

You rode Amerigo back to the barn. It was sad, this would be the last time you saw him for a while. Let's just say, a few tears were shed, and then Lafayette and Washington had to pull you off of him. After that, you walked to the Schuylers room from the barn, and Washington and Lafayette went home after returning their own horses. You walked up to their door, and didn't even get to knock before Peggy ripped the door open so quickly, you thought she was ripping the door off its hinges.

"Whoa, calm down Peggy..." you'd say before being attacked by a hug. It took effort, but you eventually got inside, dragging Peggy along as she held tightly onto your waist.

"Come on, Peggy. You gotta let go!" You'd say as you attempted to pull her off.

"PEGGY, RELEASE!" You'd hear Angelica shout, and Peggy quickly let go of you, resulting in her falling onto the floor. "Thanks." You'd say to Angelica as you helped Peggy stand up, and dust her off. "Y/N, can't you come with us and spend spring break with us?" Peggy would whine. You'd shake your head. "Someone has to help Washington keep those boys in order." You'd laugh as you dusted off her skirt. "Awwww!" Peggy would complain, and start rambling on how you needed to live with some girls and not just boys your entire life, but she was quickly shut up by her sister when she walked into the room, Eliza following behind her. "Now, Peggy, don't go talking Y/N's ears off." She'd sigh with a smile as she crossed her arms and shook her head. You'd shrug. "I find her argument on how living with girls can be more beneficial to your life is quite interesting. You'd laugh.

After spending an hour with the Schuyler sisters, chatting and all that, you said your goodbyes, and once you pulled Peggy off you once again, you started making your way down the hall to visit George and Samuel. You were walking down the hall, and someone suddenly put their hands over your eyes. "Guess who~!" You heard someone chirp. You started trying to escape. "Guess what i'm gonna do if you don't let go of me right now." you'd say while trying to escape. You heard a sigh and they let go of you. "No fun, Y/N!" You'd hear George whine. You'd shrug an laugh as you followed George into his room.

"So, let me get this straight. You live a life of luxury, and that makes it so you can't go on an Easter egg hunt?" You'd laugh. George would shrug and nod. "It's the sophisticated life, dear, you'd never understand." You'd punch him in the arm. "Don't get sassy with me, King George." He'd let out a fake gasp as if he was surprised. "Don't touch me, I'll have you hanged for that!" He'd say in a sarcastic tone. You'd giggle. "You're just jealous we won the war."

You kept talking for about 10 minutes. You looked at the clock in the corner of the room. "Oh! I should probably head back..." you'd say standing up. He'd grab your hand. "But Samuel is bringing us all tea, you can't stay for a few more minutes?" You'd think about it before shrugging. "Sure, why not?" You'd say before sitting back down as Samuel brought the tea in. He'd hand you a cup and you'd thank him. He'd hand George a cup before sitting down. You looked at Samuel, expecting him to be his usual happy self, but he looked upset... guilty even? Sad... "What are you waiting for, Y/N?" You'd hear George say. You'd look over we him. "Is something wrong?" He'd ask. You'd look over at Samuel. "Are you ok, Samuel?" You'd ask. He'd shake his head before looking at you. "Oh, yes! I'm fine." He'd say smiling and taking a sip of his tea. "Well, take a sip, Y/N! Samuel makes the best tea. Right, Samuel?" He'd say looking over at him, and he would nod, staying quiet.

You'd take a sip of the tea. It was actually very good, which inclined you to drink the rest of it. You'd set the cup down, and talk with George and Samuel for a few more minutes. You suddenly felt woozy, and tired. You felt warm, as if you had a fever. You'd look over at George. He definitely noticed you were feeling strange, but he sat there smirking as he watched you. You'd look over at Samuel. He looked scared as tears rolled down his cheeks, as he watched you. "I'm sorry." He'd mouth. You'd look over at George. "What the heck did you do...?" You'd say softly, before falling over. You felt as if the life was draining out of you. You saw white sparks flying out of you and to a crystal ball sort looking thing that was sitting on a dresser. "Ah, yes. Your life force won't be so strong once I take it, hmm?" You couldn't say anything. You just were laying on the ground, watching this happen. So tired....
