Alright, so, here's the thing...
We reached 2000 reads. Yay!
But also, here's the other thing....
I need more time to write the next chapter. *cri*
I'm so sorry about that! I'll have it out soon, but instead, why not make an adorable side story? This won't have anything to do with the actual story, but I hope you all enjoy it!"Alright, Y/N! Time for daycare!" Your father would chirp, as he walked into your room, and turned on your lights waking you up.
"No! I don't wanna go!" You'd whine, hiding under your blanket. It was your first day of daycare, and you were scared! Growing up without a mother, and no siblings, you weren't sure how to react. The only thing you could think of was other kids being mean and picking on you.
"Come on, Y/N. It'll be fun! Let's get you dressed, ok?" He'd say as he scooped you up out of your bed. You'd nod and lay against him.
"I wanna go to work with you, daddy. I'll miss you." You'd whine. He'd set you down on the bathroom counter as he helped you get dressed.
"It won't be bad, Y/N. It's only a few hours. You'll make a bunch of new friends!" He'd say as he pulled your shirt on over your head.
After half an hour, you were ready for daycare. Your lunch packed, your hair nicely brushed with a neat and tidy f/c bow, and your f/c sweater to match. Some jeans, and a pair of toddler sized converse, you were ready. You got your tiny backpack, which looked like your favorite animal, and your father helped you into your car seat.As you arrived at the daycare, you clung onto your father. He'd kneel down and hug you. Once he let you go, he'd smile and say "Be brave, little soldier." You'd nod and he'd stand up and lead you into the daycare. A very tall man greeted you and your father.
"Hello! You must be Mr.L/N. I assume this is Y/N." He'd smile as he looked down at you. You'd hod shyly behind your dad. Your father looked down at you. "Y/N, this is Mr.Washington. Say hello, Y/N." You looked from behind your father's leg and wave shyly. "Hello..." you'd say before hiding again. He and your father would talk for a little more until your father kneeled down and hugged you. "I have to go to work. Have fun, Y/N!" He'd say before giving you a kiss on the forehead, standing up, and leaving. Washington led you into the classroom, and helped you put your things in your cubby. Once he left, you wandered the room. You sat down at a small table with crayons and papers scattered all over it. You'd grab a crayon and a piece of paper, and start drawing. After a few minutes, you had some pretty decent work. "Wow! You're really good at drawing!" A voice from behind you would chirp. You'd look over your shoulder and see a freckled. Curly haired boy around your age. "Thanks...!" You'd say back to him. You were still kinda shy. Another boy with a ponytail, who was shorter than the curly haired boy walked over and saw your drawing. "It is really good!" He'd say, sounding astonished. You were always advanced above your age group. You could color inside the lines, use safety scissors, and you also were pretty smart, knowing your ABC's, how to count to 150, and how to read, write, spell, and math tables! (Multiplication, division, addition, subtraction.) Your dad said you might be able to skip kindergarten if the school board allowed it, but the school board considered the child a monster if they skipped kindergarten for some reason, so you and your father doubted it. 2 more boys walked over. A tall one, and a slightly less tall one with a bandana on his head.

This will be a side story for when I need more time writing. I'll continue it slowly if I need more time, because this doesn't take as long. The new chapter will be out soon, hope you enjoyed!
Love you, guys!
