Is This Love? (Logicality)

As much as Logan didn't want to admit it, he had romantic feelings towards the parental trait. He was sure that the feelings were romantic because his heart rate quickened only around the moral Side and being around Patton made the logical Side nervous.

Logan stood up off his bed and made his way to Patton's room. He knocked on the door and waited impatiently for Patton to open it.

Patton opened the door and smiled brightly upon seeing Logan. "Hiya, Logan!" He greeted.

Logan felt his heartbeat quicken. "Salutations, Patton," he said back. "I uhm.. would like to speak with you.."

The parental trait nodded and opened the door wider to let Logan in. Logan stepped inside Patton's room, becoming even more nervous than he previously was.

"What's up?" Patton asked, sitting on his bed. The logical Side sat down beside the other trait.

"I need help identifying a type of feelings," Logan said. "I believe they are romantic feelings towards someone, but I'm not entirely sure.."

"Okay," Patton said. "Tell me what happens when you're near that person,"

"Well, I become more nervous around them," Logan said. "And my heartbeat becomes faster than on average.."

Patton nodded. "Logan?"

"Yes?"

"Do you know what those things mean?"

The logical Side shook his head. "No, that's why I need your help, Patton.."

Patton smiled. "Logan, you're in love,"

Logan blinked repeatedly. "L-love?"

Patton nodded. "Yup! You're in love with that person,"

Logan gulped. "S-should I tell them?"

"Of course you should!" The parental trait said.

"Patton?"

"Yes, Logan?"

The logical trait let out a breath before speaking. "I love you.."

Patton blushed lightly. "You were talking about me..?"

Logan only nodded, looking down. "I understand if yo-"

"Logan," Patton said, cutting him off. "Look at me, please.." Logan looked up at the parental trait, nervousness filling every inch of his body.

"Yes-mmmfph!?"

Patton had leaned in and placed a soft kiss against Logan's lips. Logan was a bit hesitant, but kissed him back. Patton pulled away, smiling warmly.

"I love you too, Logan,"
