Roman was definitely feeling beyond creative and romantic today. It was his and Virgil's 3 year anniversary. Roman got up out of bed, making sure not to wake his sleeping boyfriend, and went downstairs. He made his way into the kitchen and started to cook pancakes, Virgil's favourite breakfast food. Right as Roman was finishing cooking, he heard the pitter patter of Virgil's feet coming into the kitchen.

"Morning, Love." Roman greeted softly. Virgil hummed and wrapped his arms around Roman's waist from behind.

He placed his head on Roman's shoulder, smiling tiredly. "Morning, Ro.." he mumbled.

"I made you pancakes," The prince-like man said, making the emo smile. "I hope you like them."

Virgil smiled and kissed his boyfriend on the cheek. "Thank you, Ro. I love you."

"And I love you." He sung back, making the emo chuckle.

The two men ate their breakfast in a comfortable silence. Roman finished first and took his plate to the sink.

"Hey, Virge?" Roman asked, rinsing of his plate. The emo hummed in response. "When you're done eating, can you get dressed? I want to take you somewhere."

"Of course, Ro. Where are you taking me?" He asked, earning a chuckle from his boyfriend.

"It's a surprise, silly." Roman said. Virgil huffed, pretending to be mad about not knowing. Roman noticed and chuckled at Virgil again. "You'll love it, I promise."

"Okay." Virgil said, finishing his breakfast. He washed his plate and they both went upstairs.

Virgil and Roman both got dressed and headed out, Virgil still not knowing what Roman had planned for them. Roman had taken Virgil to a bunch of places they had been during the early days of their relationship, smiling proudly when he saw how happy Virgil looked. But that was the least of the princely man's plans.

Once they got home and spent the rest of the day cuddling, watching tv, and making out a bit, it was time for the dinner that they both planned together. They always went to the restaurant that they had their first date at, on their anniversary. It was tradition. They both dressed up, seeing as the restaurant was slightly fancy. Roman wore a red button up shirt and black dress pants, while Virgil wore a purple plaid button up and black jeans. They already had a reservation, so when they got to the restaurant, they got seated almost immediately.

Virgil looked up from his menu and smiled at Roman. "Thank you for today." He said, catching his boyfriend's attention.

Roman smiled back, reaching across the table and holding his boyfriend's hand. "You're welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed it, Virgil."

The two males continued to talk, until their food arrived. They both began to eat and Roman fiddled with a little black box in his pocket. He was going to propose to Virgil, which was nerve wracking to say the least.

Once they finished their meals, Roman paid for it and they stood up. "Virgil.." Roman said, walking over to him. Roman slowly dropped down to one knee, pulling out the black ring box. Virgil gasped, covering his mouth with his hands. "Virgil, will you.. marry me?"

"Yes!" Virgil practically squealed. People around them started clapping. Roman stood up and hugged Virgil, Virgil hugging him back.

Roman slipped the ring on Virgil's finger and grinned at his emo nightmare. "I love you, Virgil."

"I love you too, Roman."
