Chapter 24

Get a taste of your medicine, funny your the one who end up sick... Fabolous feat. Teyana Taylor & Joe Budden - Want You Back

Warren thoughts were traveling faster than his car was on the busy afternoon highways. His heart was directing him to Casey and Cavon. Honaray was up to something super shady and he knew that Casey or even his nephew could possibly be in danger. Ever since Everton had gotten out of jail there was heavy friction between him and his brother. Money was coming up short and Everton being the man that he was, needed to be on top of his earnings from the streets as he was before he left. Warren felt betrayed by his brother more than he thought that he could have been of him. The ride to Casey’s house was becoming a longer trip than usually. The feeling of anticipation was nibbling on his heart as he made his way into her community. Honaray was not giving up on having him near her and her phone calls followed by text messages were blazing his cell phone.

He ignored every text message and phone call and placed his phone on silent as he parked in Casey’s drive way right next to her car. The last thing that he needed was Honaray calling him in the middle of a conversation with Casey. As he put his car in park and Casey came to her front door with Cavon tagging right along her side. Her hair was pull back in a slicked back high pony tail with a side swoop bang that complimented her natural face. Casey’s ivory jumper hugged her curves slightly enough to give her a comfortable look and she paired it with a pair of nude flats. She face etched a slight smile at Warren as he walked closer to her and Cavon.

“Hey, Casey and my lil nephew!” Warren said as he greeted the two who seemed to be dress for remainder of the day.

Cavon smiled and jumped up to give his uncle a hug and a high-five. Casey watched her son and Warren greet each other before she closed the door behind her and locked it. “Hey, Warren! How have you been? I know we haven’t spoken in a few days,” Casey said as she pursed her lips and looked at Warren in the eyes.

“I have been good, Casey you know a man like me can’t complain. I just came over here to actually talk to you about a few things and catch up.”

“I thought that you was busy tending to your lil baby mama or whatever you wanta call her.” She snapped as she pressed her key pad to start her car and to open the door for Cavon.

Cavon walked over to his mother’s four door car and opened up his car door. “Baby, don’t rush I have to get you situated back there in your booster seat, Cavon.”

“Okay, mama,” he said before he closed his car door.

Warren shook his head as he thought about how crazy things between him and Honaray were starting to go. “Casey, I’m trying to keep it one hundred percent with you and be about you when you bringing up a female who isn’t even relevant to any of our conversations.”

Casey begun to roll her eyes as she looked at Warren and at her son in the back of her car. “Really, Warren? Now it’s all about being relevant to a conversation? I’m not here to be buttered up and to be put on mute about how you are living your life and how should I live mines. I have somewhere to be later and you have me running behind schedule.”

“How about you just hear me the hell out and stop being so damn smart by the mouth. You honestly think that you have it all together now that my brother out of jail, but that nigga is not no good for you or Cavon.”

Casey laughed as she pushed Warren out of her way, so she can walk to the driver’s side of her car. “Warren, you are a very petty and bitter young man, and I really do feel sorry for you. One minute you love me and you hate your baby mama, and then the next minute you downing your step-brother who done nothing, but put you on game. You need to get it together boo-boo.”

Warren at that given moment wanted to grab Casey  and smack the truth in her, but he knew that it wasn’t going to be a successful task to get accomplished. The feeling of disrespect started to over whelm slowly. He reached in his back pocket and pulled out his all black 22 pistol revoler.

“I’ma crazy ass nigga Casey! Now like I said bitch, I wanta talk and nobody going to get hurt especially my fucking nephew. Now get the fuck out of the car before you have a fuckin’ bullet shot clean through your muthafuckin’ window and directly into your fuckin’ head,” He said calmly as he walked quickly over to her side of the car and opened her car door.

“Warren,  yo’ ass bet not dare hurt me in front of my son,” She said staring Warren deep into his eyes as she slowly took her keys out of the car ignition .

“Uncle Warren, please don’t hurt my mama.” Cavon said as tears begun to force from his eyes.

Warren smirked, since he felt no sympathy for Casey before he said, “I just want for your mama to give me a few minutes of her time lil man, but I can’t promise that I won’t hurt her, because then I would be lying. I didn’t want to take things this far especially not right now, but there’s an old saying that go...a hard had make a soft ass, and this 22 will straighten her ass up lil man."
