His glare tried to cut Amber like a knife but honestly, that just made a smile appear on her face as She try to contain a laugh.
"And I care because?"
Amber quirked up her right eyebrow tagging a corner of her lips along as her hands jotted out to her sides.
"I. Reject you." Ryder growled with disgust.
Amber yawned. "You already said that hun. Can I go on my way now?"
People around them started whispering.
"Look", Amber began again, looking straight into Ryder's cold blue eyes, "I'm glad you're obsessed with rejecting me every corner I turn but I really need to get going or my pack will come after whoever took their member, Understood?"

Amber has found her mate and he has rejected her but Amber could really care less.
Taking her pack as she began being Alpha after her parents had died 2 years ago from an attack was already too much on her shoulders. A mate, also an Alpha at that, would only weigh Amber down from protecting her pack and doing her job.
Ryder has no clue that Amber is also an Alpha since Ambers pack is pretty small.
Amber travels across a bunch of territories to get to a specific pack to negotiate with but she is captured by Ryders pack who mistakes her as a rogue and you know how much Ryder HATES rogues.
