She writes to her dead sister about her ongoing life
every chapter starts with dear Anna
Dear Anna,
today I went to the north side of Oklahoma county.. I know, I know. I said I'd never go there even if forced but you'd always wanted to go there... so here I am. Since it's also dads turn to keep me I thought it'd be freeing from dads new girlfriend. (parents divorced and living in different countries)
-A branch cracked. I looked back over my shoulder to see a guy standing there. awkwardly
"Sorry, I didnt think anyone was here"
Dear Anna,
John thinks jellyfish arent an animal. Hiw crazy is he Haha.
"I swear to God its true! Jellyfish arent!" he tried to convince me, grinning and playfully laughing
"you cant be serious" I laughed along
Turns out she writes, "Dear Anna" because her sister died 1 year ago.. She has survivors guilt, even more so that they had a fight before the accident. Fighting over a silly reason (idek yet) and bickered about which place to eat. mom decided to take her to the place she chose and along going to the place had a car accident, which Anna died.
She finally finds peace and stops writing to Anna, with helpful closure from John(aka lover boy)
Dear Anna,
This will be my final letter to you. In sorry for everything (you finish it future me)
"What're you gonna do with it?" John asked me
"bury it... I found closure.. And I won't blame it on me anymore.. I'll always have her in my heart, but not it to rule my life.
We buried it onto Anna's grave
"I love you Anna." I whispered
John came down to where I knelt and hugged me from behind. He put his face and my neck and comforted me
