Keithak walked into the kitchen to ask Zea if she was almost done with dinner.

"Hold your Snarlog, Keith," Zea huffed. "It'll be ready in a few minutes."

"Sorry, Zea." Keith sat in a chair next to her. "Have Ralex and Atonia been doing good so far?"

"It's your job to ask Annie and Ray, not mine. Besides, if something was wrong you'd know." Zea used her telepathy to take out the dishes for dinner. "Do me a favor and grab the Altean while I get everything set up."

Keith sighed and walked back to the Altean's room. He knocked and waited a few ticks before he saw the face of Prince Lance.

"Couldn't get enough of me, huh?" The Altean flirted and Keith glared.

"It's time for dinner," he said, calming himself, "Follow me."

Lance followed Keithak cautiously, wary of what the Galran was capable of.

"So, Keithak, can I call you Keith? Anyway, how did you get so high into the ranks? You seem closer to my age then that of your routine soldier."

"Hard work and dedication. There isn't much other than that. Stop." Keith held his arm out. "In there."

Lance looked to where Keith was pointing and saw a dining room where three Galrans were already sitting around a medium sized table.

"There you are Keef," a Galran Lance didn't recognize said, smiling up at Keith.

Must be his girlfriend, Lance thought. (Hah)

"This must be the Altean." Lance looked over at a Galran with purple hair falling down her back and was that a fin?

"That's him." Lance recognized this as the Galran who had brought him on the ship, Ralexe. "I had to show him to his room."

"Well come on Keith," the Galran with the fin said, "you can't tell me you're not hungry."

"That's true," Keith said, walking to the table. He looked back at Lance. "Come on."

Lance walked to the table carefully and took a seat next to Keith. On his other side sat Ralexe.

"So, Altean. Are you aware how many couples were killed by your father?" Ralexe asked. Everyone at the table watched him for his answer.

"I don't understand what you mean," Lance answered.

"Alright, I'll rephrase. Are you aware of the number of couples your father has killed simply because they were the same sex?"

Lance froze. He had never come out to his father due to his major homophobia. The only person he had ever told was Allura and it had done nothing but bring the two closer.

Lance could feel the Galra looking at him and snapped himself out of his thoughts. "The heinous acts of my father due to who those people loves cannot be defended, nor do I intend to.

"What he did was wrong. He killed hundreds of people simply because of who they were."

Lance looked at them sheepishly. "That's the only reason I was relieved to come here."

Ooooooooooo. I updated.
