"The food tastes amazing, Pema," Korra complimented with her mouth full. "I'm finally starting to feel like myself again."

"We're so thankful you're home safe," Pema said as she walked over to Korra to collect her plates.

"Let me help," Asami and I spoke at the same time, causing us to laugh as we grabbed the dishes.

We walked out of the dining room, letting the others talk about what happened to Korra while she was gone. She already told me all about how Tarrlok is Yakone's son and how Amon took his bending away, so I didn't need to stick around to hear it again.

Asami was washing dishes with Pema and I was standing next to them with a towel waiting to dry.

Pema suddenly hunched over and let out a screech of pain. "Pema, are you alright?" Asami asked, rubbing her back.

"The baby is just kicking. Really hard. That's all. I'm fine, really."

"Should I get Tenzin?" I asked.

Pema waved me off. "No reason to worry him. It's fine."

"Can I get some hot water? Korra needs more tea," Mako announced as he walked into the room with a tea kettle in hand.

"You're a firebender. Boil it yourself," Asami hissed as she handed me a wet plate.

Pema set a plate back down in the sink and started walking towards the doorway. "I'm gonna go, in case you want to talk."

I set the towel down on the counter. "Yeah, me too."

"No, Jaya. It's fine. You can stay," Asami said as she handed me another plate.

Mako set the kettle down on the counter and nervously ran his fingers through his hair. "Is there something we need to talk about?"

"I've noticed how you treat Korra. How you acted while she was missing. You have feelings for her, don't you?"

"What? No! She was taken by a crazy bloodbender. How did you expect me to react?"

"I like Korra, don't get me wrong, but you've been keeping the truth from me this whole time."

"The truth? About what?"

"You're really gonna make me say it?"

"Yes, because I don't know what you're talking about!"

"The kiss, Mako. I know."

"I-well- who told you? Bolin? Jaya told you, didn't she?"

I scoffed. "I'm right here."

"Don't blame someone else for what you did. Do you have feelings for Korra or not?"

Mako stepped closer to Asami and put his hand on her's. "Things are crazy right now. Can we deal with our relationship problems later?"

Asami frowned and took her hand away from his touch. "Well there might not be any relationship to worry about later," she sneered before walking away.

"Asami! Great, this is just great."

"Look, Mako. You need to be truthful. Do you have feelings for Korra?" I asked as I put the towel down to walk closer to him.

"I don't know! Like I said, things are crazy. I don't know how I feel."

"I'd figure it out if I were you. Not only are you hurting Asami, but you're leading Korra on," I told him before going after Asami.

I stood next to Aunt Lin outside of Tenzin's home, watching the explosions go off in the city in the distance. She turned around when fast steps could be heard.
