The job suggestion

Just in a few days we had already packed up my apartment and done the same with Yoongi's house. We still had to sell both my apartment and Yoongi's house but we decided to do that after we had moved in to the new house and got everything settled in.

Strangely I didn't feel nervous about this at all. I don't think I've ever been so sure about anything in my life than this. There wasn't a single thing I was nervous or worrying about, and it didn't seem like Yoongi was worrying about anything either.

The whole house was filled with boxes of our things. All the boxes needed to be emptied, and we had to find out what we wanted to keep and what we wanted to throw away. I really felt like an adult thinking about all these things.

Even though I was excited and really looking forward to it all, there was something that made me feel a little bad about it all. I felt bad that I wasn't in on the buying of the house. I wanted to be able to use some of my money as well, but right now I didn't have a lot of it. I don't think I'll ever be able to pay Yoongi off for the amount this house costed, but I don't think he would take the money if I even had the right amount of money.

The only thing I had been able to unpack today was the kitchen tools. Yoongi had way nicer plates than me so I had already decided to keep his and throw away mine.

"Candice?" Yoongi's voice echoed trough the empty house.

"I'm in the kitchen" I said back not needing to yell since the echo in the house was so loud.

Yoongi's footsteps made their way down the staircase and towards the kitchen. I placed the last plate in the cabinet.

"I think I'm going to get lost in this house" he joked and I looked up at him letting out a small laugh.

"I have some exciting news" he said with a grin on his face seemingly very excited about these news.

"Oh really?" I said looking at him like I didn't believe him.

"Yes, and I think you'll like it" he said walking closer to me.

"Then tell me. This cliffhanger is killing me" I joked.

Yoongi placed his hands on my lower back and I placed my hands on the back of his neck.

"Have you found any jobs you'd want to go for yet?" He asked.

"No, but I'm still looking" I said back at him not understanding where this was going.

"Well my record label need  a new lady for the front desk" he started. I was already ready to take the job.

"And maybe you would want to take that job. I know it's not so exclusive but-"

"It's great Yoongi" I interrupted getting excited.

"Really?" He asked with an excited smile.

"Yes" I half laughed over how surprised he seemed.

"Great! I will call them right away and let them know" he said. He gave me a quick peck on the lips and walked out of the kitchen getting his phone out of his back pocket.

I would take any job right now. I was still saving up so I could go to university, so I could work with something I enjoyed.

And if I was working at Yoongi's record label maybe I would be able to see him during the day.

I placed the empty cardboard box on the floor. I was didn't feel like doing more in the kitchen. I wanted to fill my beautiful walk in closet with my clothes instead.

I made my way trough the living room seeing Yoongi sitting on the couch talking to someone of the phone, which was probably the record label.

I walked passed him flashing him a smile and continuing my way up to the second floor. If my mother could see me now maybe she would finally be proud of me.

Opening the walk in closet gave me shivers, it was just so beautiful. I probably didn't have enough clothes to fill it up though.

My phone buzzed in my back pocket. I pulled it out form my jean and looked at the screen. A familiar name lit up the screen.

It was Tiffany.

Maybe I should be mad at her for telling my parents about my whole life, but right now I was too excited about my life that I couldn't.

"Hello"'I said into the phone.

"God Candice finally, I thought you were dead." She joked. I let out laugh my her comment. It had been a long time since we talked.

"No I'm still living" I laughed back.

"What have you've been up to?" She questioned. Where should I start?

"Well, I meet my parents again. That was a shit show" I fake laughed into the phone as the subject was still an open wound.

"Oh no" Tiffany pouted trough the phone.

"But guess what" I teased getting excited to announce the big news.

"Yoongi and I bought a house" I said ready for a huge reaction from for mrs. extra.

"Tiffany?" I questioned as the line had turned silent.

"Sorry I think I just passed out of a second"

"What?! Omg congratulations!" She squealed.

"I know" I said back as excited as her.

"I mean it was more Yoongi who bought the house though" I explained since it was the truth.

"Still, that's a amazing" Tiffany said back making me more excited.

"And I found a new job, or Yoongi offered me a job" I explained.

"Good for you Candice. What are you working as now?" She questioned.

"I'm working at the front desk at his record label" I told.

"Wow, you're life is going great" she complimented.

"I know right" I said excited trough the phone.

"But Candice I have to go. Good luck on your new job. And I have to come and see your house soon ok?"

"Of course and thank you. We'll talk soon" I said and ended the call. I placed the phone back in my pocket and looked up seeing the closet. What did I do to deserve all of this?
