We arrived at the Bahamas after a long and quiet plane ride. Luckily Yoongi and I got to share the car with each other on the way to the hotel. We didn't speak much since Yoongi got a phone call right when we landed and the phone call continued all the way to the hotel.
On the way to the hotel I couldn't stop looking at how beautiful it was here. Obviously I knew that this place was beautiful but I don't think you can actually know without being here and seeing it yourself. Yoongi continued his phone call and I didn't hear most of what was going on since I was listening to music, but I could tell Yoongi was frustrated.
The other boys left to go to another place on the island. Our driver stopped outside a small building and Yoongi got out of the car without saying anything. I was going to follow him but the driver stopped me.
"He is getting the keys to you vacation house" he explained looking at me like he felt bad for me. I sat back in the car seat and waited for Yoongi.
I hope this is not how the rest of this day is going to be. I feel bad for Yoongi this is probably not how he wanted to spend his vacation, but I also feel bad for myself since I'm siting in this car with a driver that feels bad for me.
Yoongi came back to the car without the phone to his ear. He sat back in the car with keys in his hand. The gave a sign to the driver to continue to drive and the driver did just so.
"Is everything alright?" I asked leaning against Yoongis arm looking up at him.
"It's just a thing with our new album" Yoongi said obviously annoyed and anxious. I didn't know what else to say so we stayed silent for the rest of the drive to the vacation house as the driver called it.
Yoongi was looking out the window but not admiring the view but more so thinking of something that was obviously bothering him. His body was tense the whole way to the house and I didn't know how to fix it or make him think of anything else.
We pulled up to a house that stood on the beach. Many similar houses were lined up a few meters away from each other. The house had glass windows that covered most of the walls and a small set of stairs on the side that let up to the front door.
Yoongi got the bags out of the car and thanked the driver briefly and walked up to the door with our luggage in both hands. I gave the diver a quick smile feeling bad and turned to follow Yoongi. Yoongi was quick to open the door, placing the luggage down and taking his phone up from his pocket and leaving the room. I let out a sigh. I wanted him to see the house and admire it for a second. The was very nice. It had a small kitchen right when you walked in. The whole floor was pretty open but a wall between the kitchen and the bedroom separated the two rooms. The bedroom had a big bed with a mirror above it. Two dressers stood in each side of the room and a big glass door that lead right to the beach. The glass door also let to the terrace where a table stood. I couldn't wait for the two of us to eat our breakfast here.
I made my way into the bedroom again. Yoongi walked out of what I now knew was the bathroom and he looked at me with a disappointed face.
"What's going on?" I questioned him obviously knowing something was wrong.
"I have to get to the lobby of the hotel that owns these houses. There is some things I need to get something done and there is WiFi there" he explained quietly knowing it would disappoint me.
"Alright. Just do what you got to do" I responded sitting down on the bed looking at him with a trying reassuring smile.
"I will be back soon I promise" he said giving me a smile and walking up to me giving me kiss on the top of my head before walking out of the house.
I couldn't say he was allowed to go. He had a job and yes it was unfortunate he had to get whatever was going on done now, but it would only get worse if I didn't let him get it done now.
I laid back down on the bed feeling a little saddened but dying to push the feeling away. Slowly but surely my eyes got heavier and I slowly I fell asleep. For a moment I forgot that I was in paradise and I only wanted this day to be over.
"Candice?" A familiar voice said placing its hand on my cheek. I slowly opened my eyes seeing Yoongi sitting on the edge of the bed with a faint smile on his face.
"Did it all work out?" I asked hoping he was done with his work for the day.
"Yes. I won't be needing my phone anymore today" he smiled at me.
"Good" I said sitting up from the bed. It was dark outside now.
"Let's go on the terrace" Yoongi said taking my hand and getting me off the bed. Yoongi opened the door to the terrace and my eyes landed on the table. He had lit candles and plates of food stood ready on the table. I looked at Yoongi and felt my heart warm up.
"Did you?" I started.
"I felt so bad for not being able to spend the day with you and I wanted us to at least have a conversation tonight" he joked. I walked up to the table.
"This is perfect" I said giving him a smile.
"So you're not mad" he asked looking at me with a worried voice.
"No. I was maybe a little disappointed but you're here now so it's fine" I said admiring the table and the food.
"Well lets sit down and eat, you must be starving" Yoongi smiled and gestured for us to sit down.
Being here with him on this beach with a dinner and the moon shining from the sea was a dream come true. I will forever be grateful for everything he has done for me and I hope to be able to give some of the love he said given to me back to him.
