R Y A N
Two weeks.
That's how long Aryn has been ignoring me. Jimin tried to reassure me that he's possibly busy, and even if I wanted to believe him, I see Aryn with his friend group every day.
"Maybe I should just give up," I huffed sitting down in front of Jimin, who almost chocked on his food. He coughed and once finished, he shook his head frantically.
"You will not dare give up on Aryn, Ryan! You said it yourself, you two are soulmates!" Jimin pointed to me as I put my hands in between my thighs
"It's not like that now though," I muttered looking down at the table. Jimin angrily stood up, marched to behind me where he grabbed my shoulders and literally lifted me off the chair.
"We are going to find Aryn, and you will tell him how you feel before someone else gets a chance to take your shine!" Jimin was pushing me out of the lunch hall, but we froze when we seen Aryn talking to his friend, Beth I think.
Jimin and I looked at them as they stared at us. Beth looked at Jimin and then to me. She made an oh shape with her mouth before walking off, this was when Jimin walked up to Aryn.
Considering Jimin is so small, Aryn looked down at him noticing Jimin was pointing his index finger up at him.
"You hurt my best friend! How dare you ignore him for two weeks straight!" Jimin's face turned bright pink with anger as he stared at Aryn.
"It's not -" before Aryn could speak Jimin's phone rang. He sighed answering the phone and putting it up to his ear.
"Hyung, what's wrong?" Jimin asked with a sigh. Once the voice replied, Jimin looked at me in shock. I nodded knowing he'll need a private conversation with Yoongi.
I put my hands in my pockets looking at the ground before I could walk off. But before I past Aryn, he grabbed my arm.
"Jimin is just a friend?"
"What did you think he was Aryn? My boyfriend?" I asked raising my eyebrow at the blushing boy in front of me.
"W-What? N-No," he stuttered as Jimin came back up to me and Aryn.
"Ryan, I have to go home, but text me later on okay?" I nodded noticing Jimin with a frown.
"Jimin? Are you okay?" He froze and nodded his head before running out of the school.
"He'll be okay," I muttered to myself in hope. Aryn just looked at me then to the door.
"So what did you want to speak to me about? I'm assuming that there's something considering Jimin came up and talked to me," Aryn pointed out. I nodded taking a deep breath before allowing the air to leave my system.
"Aryn, I really-"
"Hey Aryn! Are you ready for that date?" A boy came up to us patting Aryn's shoulder. My mouth dropped as I looked at Aryn, who was smiling a little.
"Yeah, I'll be there in a second," with that the boy left and Aryn looked at me.
"Now what where you saying?"
"It's nothing, just forget it." I muttered walking away from him.
I guess it's too late, I guess Jimin was right. Someone else confessed their feelings to Aryn.
I was too late. I'm always too late. For everything.
