chapter twenty nine

Lucy pov

I screamed and fell to the floor. My vision went blurry and I can see Clockwork and another person with black hair and a white jacket. Jeff.

He was holding a knife with blood on it.

"W-why?" I ask gripping my side still on the floor.

I looked at Clockwork who had a blank face then turned to a smile.

"Hey Jeff, wanna be on my team." she asks with delight.

"Ill be happy to." he says.

"What?!" I struggle to get up and I notice BEN with Toby and another guy Ive seen before but forgot his name. Was it Laughing Jack. He had black hair and a swirly black and white nose. Yup that was him.

A shock up pain washes through me as I finish getting up.

I grab his hand and he turns around.

"Why would you switch teams?" I ask with tears of pain.

"Because, I just wanted to." I let go of him and wipe my eyes then I look him straight in the eyes blocking out the pain.

"Fine. Just dont come back when she tries to threaten you." I say in a calm voice.

He walks away with that b!t3h. Thats my way of spelling bitch.

I then feel someone lift me up and its Toby. He was running and I felt really dizzy.

Then he stopped and set me down

in a forest.

"What the hell happened?" Toby asks as he examines my left side.

"Clockwork tried to hurt BEN and then Jeff came up and stabbed me with his knife. But im really glad you guys are here because IT HURTS!" I tell the story like it is.

"Well, lets cover up that gash, LJ." Toby says and LJ hands him a cloth and started rubbing it and the pain washed over me and I screamed.

"Lucy! Its ok to cry." BEN says who barely looks hurt but I know he hurts down inside.

"Ok." I say and then Toby looks at me.

"Its a pretty deep gash." he says.

"Toby?" i look at him.

"What?"

"Hurry up the pain is worst than before!" i yell accidentally.

He takes a thread and threads it into my skin for stitches.

He then helps me up and LJ was already taking care of BEN.

"You should get back home. Its gonna rain again." Toby says. I turn around and see BEN stand up. I rush over to him and gave him a hug.

"Thanks for everything." I say before I let go. Toby then takes me home and why did Jeff have to leave. Well whatever if he wants to do that then he doesn't know whats coming.
