BEN pov

Ugh why does Jessica have to come at a time like this.

Im starting to like Lucy and then my ex comes.

Man but i saw something today that I wouldn't forget.

Toby was with Jessica today. They were talking and laughing at the park.

I was just walking pass when I see them getting closer and closer to each other. OH GOD, TOBY, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?

I run and Toby notices me but he catches up to me.

"BEN, I swear, if you tell Lucy, I will kill you." he said pushing me to the floor.

"You never liked her did you?" I ask coughing.

"I only dated her to make Clockwork jealous because I hate Clockwork and I know why Jeff tried to kill Lucy because she got in our way and I told him to. I was close so i can help her but LJ had to come and you had to follow, I couldve finished the rest off." Toby says.

"You tried to kill Lucy. How could you?" i ask.

"I told you, for the jealousy." he says. He kicks me down and walks away. I couldnt breathe after that.

I tried standing which worked but I walked slowly home.

I have to tell Lucy but I can't. But if it wasnt for me and LJ, Lucy would be dead by now.

I rushed home. Well I tried but I was still hurt.

Lucy, whatever you do dont trust Toby.

Lucy pov

This week went by fast but I barely hung out with Toby because he said that he was busy after school all week but we could hang out at detention.

Saturday

I walked into the library with my lunch and I met up with my friends.

"Lets try not to make this day as boring." I said.

"Yeah." Toby smiled. Then BEN looked at me with uncertainty and he looked beat up.

We all sat down for an hour bored until BEN showed me his game.

"Hey guys, want to play a game?" he asks.

"Sure." we played until Mr. Slenderman came into the library and took the game.

"No playing games when you're in detention." he says. When he leaves BEN takes out another one.

"I have another one." he says.

Then we have lunch.

After that we talk about our stories.

Their stories were really sad. But then I told them mine.

"When I was a baby, I had a damaged chromosome and they gave me a drug to immune me from diseases forever and the needle was then made into a needle that actually made me different from my family. When i found out what happened I killed them and ran away." BEN was teary eyed and Toby seemed normal.

After detention my mom offered BEN a ride and we talked about video games until when we stopped at a restaurant and got some food. My mom went in and BEN told me something.

"Toby is cheating on you."

"He is. How do you know?" she asks.

"I saw him kiss the new girl and he jumped me and hes been talking to her afterschool thats why hes ben canceling on you."

"Um stalker much but I cant believe Toby."

"So what you gonna do about it." i ask.

"Im gonna break up with him."

"Well ok if you need me ill be here if you cry."

"I don't cry, im tough." she said sniffing.

"Yeah tough." i said sarcastically.

"BEN?"

"Yeah."

"You're so understanding." she crawls in the back with me and hugs me. I hug her back and she cries on my chest but Im here for her and I know she'll do the same for me one day.
