It's been 3 years since the war ended, and also Elizabeth and Meliodas. Everything changed ever since.

Though the Boar Hat is still running, but its vibe is different knowing their captain and the princess was gone. Elizabeth's death had made the Liones bury in grief. Though it lasted for a month, the kingdom was back.

As for Meliodas's death, the sins were disbanded for real. They went on their seperate ways, but eventually they got tired of living on their own and went back to normal, like they used to. They pretended everything was normal.

And as for the child, my. It has grown a lot.

"Merlin, she's getting bigger." said Diane.

"A bit bigger for three years." King added.

"You're a lil pumpkin, aren't ya?~" Said Ban, while patting the child.

"You look so much like Meliodas."

Over the past three years the child had grown. They still can't figure it out if it's a demon since the power it carry is immense.

Merlin named the child Ellie, in which Elizabeth is called by her sisters. Ellie looked like her father. She has short, curly, light-blonde hair, though she got Elizabeth's sparkly blue eyes. she also has bangs similar to Elizabeth, but it doesn't cover her other eye. She inherited some of Elizabeth's feature but she looks most likely like Meliodas.

"Lovely Ellie, take this flower as a sign for your pure beauty." Escanor said in a poetic way, and handed her a daisy.

"Tuwenk.. you."

"But she can't spit out words yet. Patience is all that matters, and we'll teach her." said Merlin.

"Oh! Oh! King and I will teach her."

"M-me?!" King blushed, and pointed at himself.

"Yup! It'll be fun, King. We'll be like her parents!"

"P-pawent?"

"Good job Diane, now she'll be asking more again for her parents." said Ban

"Ack! I'm sorry. F-forget what I said Ellie!"

Hawk has been always beside Ellie, and eventually Ellie liked him, just how Elizabeth likes Hawk. Merlin, on the other hand has always been busy taking care of Ellie.

"Merlin, can I talk to you?" asked Ban.

"Sure."

"Let's go outside."

They both stepped outside while Diane and King plays with Ellie.

"The curse. Is it over?"

"Yes. Right as when Ellie was born, the curse was removed."

"So there aren't any chances that.. That Elizabeth will be reincarnated?"

"No, because the last Elizabeth is Ellie. And out of the 107 reincarnation, she is the last one. I knew it in an instant when I felt a heart beat from Elizabeth. Captain never knew, because I know he'd only kill himself."

"But if Meliodas didn't knew about the curse being removed, then he must believe that Elizabeth might be reincarnated again?"

"Correct. And that may lead to a serious scenario. Meliodas might search the world just to see the reincanated princess, without knowing that it is Ellie.

"But didn't you tell him about Ellie?"

"I did. But he cared none. He still killed himself."

"That stupid asshole."

"Ban-"

"I know what I have to do."

"If you're even thinking for a second, I will not tolerate it."

"But it's the only thing to get them back, Merlin."

"It's their choice whether to come back or no."

"But the child doesn't have a fucking parents!" He said in anger.

"And what do you think she'll believe once she's grown? Her father died because she isn't wanted?!"

"No, they died in battling in the Holy War."

"She'll grow up without even knowing the face of his father nor her mother. Heck she even cries almost every night! You know why?! BECAUSE SHE'S FUCKIN INCOMPLETE."

He shut Merlin out for a minute and stared at each other, thinking. The silence was soon broken once Merlin spoke.

"Do whatever you want." Merlin left Ban in silence and went inside the Boar Hat, greeting Ellie.

The captain's death surely wasn't his best experience in his immortal life. Not when Elaine died, following by his precious friend.

I promise I'll protect both of what's precious to me.

"Unkewl... Oof!" said Ellie as she tripped on a rock, while Ban, assisted her to stand up.

"Pugoo!! Are you alright Ellie?" said Hawk.

"Woah there. Are you ok?" said Ban

She nod. She's really the clumsy type, like her Mother. I can't resist seeing you without your parents. I don't want you growing up without Elizabeth holding you, or Meliodas protecting you. But for now, I'll be your protector.

"Hey Ellie. Do you want to go on an adventure?"

"Ab..vent-twur?"

"Yes."

"W-where?"

"You'll see. It'll be fun."

We'll have an adventure to the Supreme Deity's kingdom. We'll find your mother first.
