meliodas;;
Little do I know the changes of my world. Slowly, I've become a traitor to my own. I'm all that's left anyway, so I am free of my own will. But what I'm scared of is Elizabeth's own clan, what if they knew and they'll might kill her.
"Rules aren't broken when nothing bad has done." A whisper said, but the only person around me is Riri.
"Hey Ri, heard that?"
"..Caw?"
"No? Oh, then who might that be."
"Caww."
I slowly took out my sword and take glances around. A minute of silence froze, and a dark miasma flew around me.
"Who's there." I murmured.
"Caw! Caw!" Riri noised and a sight of black shadow leaped to us.
"Hellblaze"
"What the hell-"
Full Counter! I back fire.
Wait a minute.. This attack is... It's familiar..
narrator;;
A sight of Meliodas' brother, Zeldris whom he defeated 3 years ago was back to haunt him. Without a hint of memories from Meliodas, he knew nothing of how a threat Zeldris is. Both of them were neither surprise by the unexpected reunion, rather, Meliodas was threatened at first.
"Zeldris, is that you?"
"So you have recognize me, how wonderful."
"What do you want?"
"Nothing, I'm here to remind you something.
The dark miasma soon turn into a vision of Zeldris and he approached Meliodas. He still haven't removed the sword from his hand and Riri was nowhere to be found.
"So, why are you here?" I asked.
"I know we had bad fights but, we're still brothers right?"
Meliodas slowly put down the sword and placed it on his back. Zeldris widened his arms to welcome him.
"It's good to have you back, brother." He said.
"How did you come here?"
"I have my own ways. But anyways, tell me about your adventure alone. Have you met many demons? After the Holy War our clan was wiped out straight."
"None so far, but I have met a child. She's got demon blood in her veins but I don't know where her location is."
Zeldris's eyes were focused on someting, something like recalling the past.
"Whose child?"
"I don't know yet. Hey, like some ale?"
"I'm a soul, idiot. A soul couldn't possibly drink."
"Funny. I have this sword I found, it's a pretty bleak sword to be honest, but it'll last."
"I know some blacksmith who sells good swords." He said.
"Really?"
"Yeah, it's located not far from here. Well, since you've venture for 2 years, have you met someone?"
"Me? Well, I have but," I sighed for a second, and he attentively listen to me.
"She's from the goddess's clan."
"Brother, you know you can't fall in love with someone in the opposite blood as you."
"I know but-"
"You should atleast respect father's love for you that demons are forbid to love our enemies."
"I... I know."
"Meliodas. If the Supreme Deity knows Elizabeth's meeting with you, they'll surely execute Elizabeth. She will be sentenced to death and tortured for treason. And as for you, it'll be the same. Ancient rivalry in our blood are still intact until we are not wiped out."
They both walked towards who knows where and stopped beside a cliff and a river beside that leads to a nearby kingdom. Zeldris faced Meliodas but he stared blankly at the kingdom from afar.
"Help me with my mission, brother. I still have unfinished task that I should do, but I can't do it in this form."
"What will be in for me?"
"Anything you'd wish."
"Deal."
"Then," He pointed North East, "Somewhere in the North East you'll see a small house with barrels of ale outside and inside you will find my ashes."
"Whose house?"
"Derriere's and Monspiet. Don't worry, they're human, and they don't have any powers."
"I'll take Elizabeth with me-"
"No! Brother, this is a task I gave only for you. So you shouldn't be meddling with that burden of yours. Besides, you don't need someone to accompany you, you're the most feared demon. Nothing will be in your way."
"I'll leave at dawn. Will you be coming with me?"
"No, I have other business to attend. I'll be counting on you, Meliodas."
"Sure."
Zeldris, not much visible to the eye, whispered lowly in the wind.
"Remember brother, if you help me with my mission you will no longer meet Elizabeth."
Meliodas looked above and felt the gust of cold wind from Zeldris's disappearance. He closed his eyes and sighed. One word could only describe Meliodas. Lost. Without a clan, family, he was lost. It was only Elizabeth that he could count, but apparently his brother showed up, telling him all the bad things to her. But Meliodas didn't listen, so he went to Elizabeth to meet her one last time before doing his mission.
"Oh I forgot something. Riri! He's gone now, you can come out." He said, and Riri came flying towards him. The silver phoenix flew around him and tucked her head on his neck.
"Aw, were you scared of him?"
"Caww."
"Come on, let's meet her."
meliodas;;
I need to see you one last time, before I head out to join Zeldris on his mission. I can't possibly tell you how my brother feels about you. I can't put you at risk, so I'll say my goodbyes.
I flew around the lake of druids and under the lake was a cave of crystals, and there a woman in silver hair stood in front of a gigantic statue. The place is surrounded by countless diamonds and crystals.
"Hey." I said.
She turned to me and her bangs cover her right eye.
"Do I look funny?"
I stared at her for a second,
"You look wonderful."
