i laughed at connors comment on my picture before shoving my phone and a few essentials in my purse.
a few seconds later, i heard my phone start to buzz.
i pulled it out of my purse and of course, Gus was texting me.
Gus: are you fucking kidding me?
Me: lol what?
Gus: are you actually fucking blind or are you just trying to piss me off?
Me: dont know what you're talking about Gus.
Gus: are you serious right now? Are you just going to let Connor hit on you like that? and what the fucks going on tonight between yall two? are you for real hanging out with him just because im working on a project with a girl?
Me: lol no.
Gus: are you jealous or something?
Me: jealous? of that? lol. no.
me: i got to go Gus.
Gus: yeah, whatever. bye. don't even worrying about texting me when you get home.

i rolled my eyes and shoved my phone back in my purse before grabbing my keys and heading out the door.
"hey where are you going?" my mom asked as she walked up the porch while I was walking out the house.
"the club to hang out with Connor. ill be home soon though, i promise." i smiled while giving her a slight hug.
"Okay, be safe, i love you." she said as i got in the car.
after a few minutes drive, i finally got to the club and Connor was standing out in the driveway waiting for me.
