{Astor has this strange ability that makes you feel confident even when things work against you. Make me want to trust him wholeheartedly.}

"So where does this luck bring Lucien to?"

"According to our report, they are heading to the mountains.

It seems like Prince Lucien believes that the Fae treasures can be found there."

"And with luck on his side, I don't doubt his belief. 

Well luck has always been on his side. 

Things haven't changed one bit since we were small. 

Let's see how far luck can bring him."

{Hatred flashes through Astor's eyes. He lowers his gaze and when he looks up it's his usual unreadable eyes. All emotions shielded. He was not always like this, reserved and wicked, yes, but not as unreadable and vicious. Everything changes after that incident.}

"Send out Team Alpha and Team Apollo." 

"Two teams?"

"I am done toying with our lucky prince. 

Ask Team Alpha and Team Apollo to follow them. 

When they reach the mountains, Team Alpha is to remove every single one who betrays the crown, our King Leonard. 

Team Apollo is to support Team Alpha and retrieve the Fae treasures." 

"But luck..."

"Luck will be dealt with." 

"I have something else to report. 

Prince Lucien and Felicity seem to have developed... eh..."

"Eirlys."  

"Prince Lucien and Felicity seem to have developed a relationship. 

Romantic in nature."

"Is that even a surprise? 

Didn't you learn anything from the novels you read and the plays I brought you to?"

{Right. A guy and a girl in a distressed situation, the only logical option is to fall in love. Of course, how stupid of me. But...}

"But she is a farm girl?"

"Does it matter in your novels and plays?" 

{Felicity has a unique and special power. Furthermore, she is definitely different from every single girl the Prince has encountered (that is because she is a farm girl). Felicity ticks all the boxes! She is a perfect love interest! Well, they are being chased by killers and all they thought of is falling in love... Prince Lucien's image drops to a new low that I am not sure is even possible. His image was really low to start with.}

"Right. My apologies for asking such a foolish question." 

"Glad you are able to acknowledge your mistakes. 

I don't remember bringing up a stupid girl."

{You didn't bring me up! You are only 4 years older than me. You just threw me to your housekeeper.}

"But a farm girl, never imagine that from proud Prince Lucien."

"That's what I thought as well, my lord.

Doesn't Prince Lucien like pretty shiny girl like Lady Lane?

Oh, maybe Felicity is also that type of girl?" 

"You haven't considered one thing."

{Astor seems to be laughing at some cruel inside joke. Smirking, his eyes twinkles with evilness.} 

"Which is?"

"What is the fun if I tell you the answer?

I am going for a walk.

Eirlys, anywhere you wish to go?"

{Argh, toying with me again. Like dangling candies in front of children. And I fall for that. Again. I am bursting with curiosity now. What's the other possibility? Let me choose somewhere that will bore you, my lord!}

"How about the millinery, my lord?

I need a new hat."

"As you wish." 

{Wait to be bored, my lord!}

Author's note

That's chapter 3. So we learn something about the super popular farm girl. Is it up to your expectation?

This is a slightly longer chapter. Originally it's not this long, but I felt that there weren't enough of EirlysxLord Astor interaction and too much info. That's why I add in a few more lines. (So people who like to read them bickering/talking, thanks me XD).

This story reaches 164 views! Thank you everyone! That's quite a number considering that it's just 5 days? (At least I think so, I don't really remember the statistics when I first started The Academy Girls hahaha).
