xvii. Mistake

52 13 10

You turned me black
And turned my days grey
All because you were blue
And wanted me and my joy to turn you yellow.

You sucked all my happiness out
And instead filled my mind with self-doubt
You should be rotten with guilt
For all the unpleasant memories you built.

I tried to pull you up,
But I failed.
Instead, you pulled me down
And tried to steal my crown.

Sorry to spoil your plans.
I'm clearly not one of your fans.
And I'm a little too smart for you.
You're pathetic and blue, it's true.

Thanks for reading and comment if there's someone in your life you can relate this with.. This is kind of a poem about how wrong friendships can spoil and drag you down. And about how they can be quite heartbreak when you realise it.
