Alyssa pov
I ran as fast as I could until.. my eyes opened. I was blinded by lights but my eyes quickly adjusted. I was in the hospital. But why ask I remember is kissing Cameron on the street them everything went black. Wait Cameron were is Cameron.
"Were is Cameron" I shouted to whoever was in the room
"she's awake go tell the family" the person on the other side of the room told the nurse. Which I assume he is the doctor
"why am I here and were is Cameron" I asked getting more frustrated
"Miss calm down" the doctor said
"Lis your alive" my ain't said coming over to my bed giving me a hug
"Ya I am but why am I in here?"
"Lis you were in a coma for a week you got hit by a car." My ain't said tears threatening her eyes
"please just tell me Cameron is ok" I said being to cry
"I'm right here beautiful"
"Cameron?" I asked in disbelief as he walked through the door and over to my bed
"it's me Lis, and your awake I thought you were gone forever" her said letting a single tear fall
I was speechless. I had no idea what to say, Cameron thought i was gone forever
"Hey guys can you give Cam, and i some alone time just for a sec?" i asked to the doctor and my aunt
"Sure thing Lis" my aunt said her walking out and the doctor following right behinde
The only reason why i wanted to talk to Cameron alone is because i need awnsers. I need to know what happened. I need to know why he is in such better condition than me if he got hit by a car to.
"Hey Cam what happened?"
"Well we were in the middle of the street, and then there was bright lights coming towards us. You put yourself infront of me. So the car hit you the most." He said letting more tears fall
"Lis you risked your life for me and i almost lost you, it's all my fault"
"Cameron look at me it's not your fault i put myself infront of that car on purpose. I choose to do that you couldn't stop me even if you wanted to" i said lifting his chin up so he was looking right at me
"So did you stay here all week waiting for me to wake up?" i asked
"Yes when they let me out on Tuseday i sayed in that chair over there everyday" Cam said with a smile. Oh that smile it makes me blush like crazy.
"Hey there's that blush that I've missed so much." Cameron said poking my cheek
"Do you now when i will be able to go home?" i asked Cam
"Here let me go ask the doctor" and with that he left out the door.
I was laying there for what seemed like forever waiting for Cameron. I didn't have my phone to entertain me, so i decided to look at all the stuff they have me hooked up to. I had an IV in my arm, thank god i still had my bracelets still on that would have been really bad. I then move my blakets from my legs and see i have cuts a brusies on them. New ones not from when i got beaten up by my bullies. I then see my hospital gown barley covers my last time i cut. I quickly cover my legs back up when i hear the door began to open.
"Hey Lis the doctor said that you can go home tomorrow" Cameron said coming ocer and hugging me
"yes this bed is so uncomfortable" i said with a chuckle, making Cam chuckle as well
"Well i'm tired and my head hurts I think i'm going to rest" i say rubbing my head
"ok i'll go back to my chair" Cameron said getting up and walking up to the chair
"Cam no come and lay with me please"
"I thougth you would never ask" he said laying down next to me
"i love you Cameron" i said and gave him a quick peck and nuzzled my head into his chest "Lyssa?"
"Yes Cam" i said lifting up my head. He didn't say anything he just grabbed my wrists pulled up my bracelets and he kissed every single scar. I just stared at him as he did so. Why does he care so much there is nothing special about me. I'm nothing i'm a freak who cuts themselves. I will never understand this boy.
"I love you beautiful" Cam said and kissed my forehead. And with that i was out like a light.
