{Chapter 37}

Alyssa's pov

Today the girls and I are going shopping for bridesmaid dresses, and for my dress. And by the girls I mean Yasmin, Andrea, Jenn, Emily, Arden,Lauren ,Maddy.

I was pretty excited to be honest. As a kid I always use to dream of picking out my wedding dress. But I imagined it differently, it be me and my mom with my grandma and my best friend.

But it wasn't like that in a way this way was better, being with the people who care about me and have been with ne threw it all.

And I never imagined that I would be marrying my dream guy, I jever thought that I would have a child before I was married. I never thought I was ever going to get married in the first place.

"We have arrived" Andrea shouted bringing me out of my thoughts as we entered the shop

"Hi we have an appointment for bridesmaids, and the brides dess" Jenn spoke because I was off in my own world looking at the dresses that were on display.

"Bridesmaids dresses first" Arden exclaimed as she pulled me to were they walk out and show me the dresses. (Idk how to explain this lol hope u know wht I mean haha)

I explained to the lady what I wanted the dresses to look like and she wrote down some things and went to the back to find some dresses.

"What three are trying on the dresses while the rest of us just look at them" Maddy said with a little laugh

"I definitely want to try them on" Andrea explained raising her hand

"SAME" Jenn and Yasmin yelled in unison

The lady came back with some dresses and took Andrea, Jenn and Yasmin back to the changing room as we all waited out by the stage thing were they stand.

They finally came out and I loved the dress. It was form fitting at the top then was flowy at the bottom but wasn't puffy.

And it was the perfect color of pink that I wanted, and the perfect amount of black. And I forgot to mention that the colors for the wedding are pink black and white.

"So do you like it?" The dress lady asked me

"I like it, I like how it fits me" Andrea said spinning around in a circle admiring herself in the mirror.

"I don't like it it's too long" I said scrunching up my face while shaking my head no

Andrea groaned and they all walked back to the dressing room. I laughed at Andreas response . I really hope that we find the perfect dresses today.

The girls cane back about 5 mins later and let me just say my chaw dropped. Their dresses were exactly what I wanted.

Short in the front and long in the back. It had a sweet heart neck line with a black belt. And I think I actually liked this color pink better than the last.

"I LOVE THEM THESE ARE THE DRESSES" I yelled causing everyone in the shop to stare at us.

All the girls were pleased with the dresses, now it was my turn to find my dress.

We have been here for at least 2 hours I just couldn't find the perfect dress and I was staring to get frustrated.

"Hey Lis how about this one?" Andrea asked pulling out a dress

"I'll go try it on" I said not very enthusiastic because we have been here so long and I just want to go home

I slipped in the dress not bothering to look at it before I put it on. As the lady helped me lace the back I looked in the mirror in front of me and oh my god. I fell in love with this dress.

I walked out and everyone stopped and stared. There eyes were all on me and feeling's from back in high school started to apear. Feeling like there was something wrong with me, that everyone was staring at me because I was weird.

But then I reminded myself that was the past this is now. I'm a whole different person now. So I shook off those feelings and stood on the stage and let everyone look at me in my dress.

"Love it"

"Yass girl that is the one"

"We are not leaving this store if your not getting this dress"

Those were the responses I got and I was for sure getting this dress.

"This is my dress" I said to the lady

We paid for everything and left the store. Today was a fun day bonding time with my girls. And realization hitting me. I've changed so much like if I never went to that park that day I wouldn't be here.
