I frustratedly covered my hands and wrists with the hand wrap while panting very hard then I went close to the punching bag and started hitting it, throwing all my anger to that innocent thing.
Repeatedly, I cursed inside my head while throwing my punches. Hindi ako makakapayag na mawalan kami ulit. Ang tagal naming naghirap ni Uncle Rixton para lang mabawi lahat ng mga nawala sa amin noon. But then I couldn't risk Katheryne also.
Pag bumalik ako sa Pilipinas, paano na siya? Paano na kami? Her family would surely do everything to get her from me. And when Trevor also found out about our relationship, I knew he would surely go berserk. Naiipit ako ngayon sa magugulong sitwasyon at hindi ko alam kung ano ba ang gagawin ko.
"AAAAAAHH!!!" I hit the punching bag as hard as I could.

My head swiveled towards the door. And there, I found the reason why all these fūcking things were happening to my life now and also the same reason why I've been battling with myself because I couldn't accept also if I'm going to lose her in my life.
She walked towards me and carefully held my trembling hands. "Tama na. Sinasaktan mo na yung sarili mo eh." I saw the tears began clouding her eyes. "Lagyan natin ng cold compress yung mga kamay mo para di mamaga," she said softly while unwrapping the strip of cloth on my left hand.
"Rye, I hate seeing you hurting yourself like this. Hindi mo naman kailangang gawin to sa sarili mo lalo na kung may paraan naman para maayos yung mga problema."
"You don't know what you're talking about," I said while watching what she was doing.
She lifted her head and looked at me. "Alam ko, Ryder. Narinig kita kanina nung kausap mo si Trevor. Hindi kayo titigilan ng pamilya ko hanggang hindi nila ako nakukuha sa inyo. Kilala ko sila. They could play very very dirty just to get what they want. Wala silang sasantuhin especially my dad. He could be a very cunning beast when taunted. Ayokong mawala sa 'yo yung mga pinaghirapan mo kaya bago pa mangyari yun, gawan na natin ng paraan."
I clenched my teeth. "And what are you trying to suggest? Bumalik na tayo sa Pilipinas? No!"
"Kakausapin ko sina Daddy para itigil na nila 'to." Tears started breaking and falling from her eyes. "Nasasaktan din ako na nakikita kitang nagkakaganito kaya kung may paraan naman akong magagawa to stop them, why not, di ba? Hindi ba pwedeng alisin mo na lang sa utak at puso mo yung paghihiganti? Let's just live a normal life, Rye. Let's have a normal relationship. Ayoko ng ganito na kung saan-saan mo pa ako kailangang dalhin para lang ilayo at itago ako sa pamilya ko. Gusto ko na silang makita. Gusto ko na silang makasama. Hindi naman ibig sabihin na babalik ako sa kanila ay mawawala na ako sa 'yo. Mahal kita, Ryder, pero mahal ko rin yung pamilya ko. Masaya ako na kasama kita pero kulang yung buhay ko kung wala sila. Importante sila sa akin just as much as you're important to me that's why I want you get along with each other as well."
