The first night had seemed peaceful enough.

But, what everyone didn't know was that the second one was going to be the craziest.

Cheryl's deep dark secert was tearing her apart inside.

(In case you forgot in the last IRL chapter Cheryl has an unknown secret).

If she were to tell someone, they would turn against her in an instant, call her selfish, a bitch even.

She would lose everything.

Cheryl laid in her bed on her phone, trying to distract herself somehow.

But, it didn't work.

Because Veronica had walked into the room.

"Hey, what are you doing?" She asked sitting next to the red-haired girl.

"Um, nothing really" Cheryl replied turning off her phone "what's up?"

Veronica threw off her high heels "is Joaquin coming back anytime soon?"

Cheryl's mind froze. They had their first time in a cabin, but why did Veronica want to do it again in another cabin?

"Um, I don't know," she told her.

Veronica scooted herself closer to her "I've been pretty busy since my Dad is coming to Riverdale soon, and we haven't really gotten much...alone time."

She brushed her fingers against Cheryl's shirt "but tonight, I want you."

In that moment, Cheryl forgot all about her guilt and heartache, because she just wanted Veronica too.

Veronica crashed her lips on hers, and Cheryl didn't pull away.

Passion and lust possed the two lovers as their kisses began to get more and more heated.

Veronica eventually ended up on top of Cheryl, playing with the zipper of her top.

Then, memories hit Cheryl.

The chaos, the slurs on his words, the feel of his lips on hers.

Cheryl pushed Veronica off of her, panting.

"What? What's wrong?" Veronica asked.

But she didn't answer.

"Cheryl, baby what's wrong? Was I making you uncomfortable?" Veronica said, concerned.

A tear rolled down Cheryl's cheek "there's something I need to tell you. S-something that you'll hate me for."

Veronica looked at her confusing for a minute but then her face turned back to concern "remember our promise? That no matter how bad the problem might be, we'll always listen to each other? Well, that's what I'm going to do now."

Cheryl inhaled, she was finally going to tell her.

Tell her the thing that would tear their relationship apart.

"I went to this party not too long ago, and it was just me" she began "then, I ran into Archie. He was drunk and not thinking properly, and..and he kissed me. But, I wasn't even drunk and I didn't pull away. Then...we slept together."

Veronica was stone cold, she wore no emotion on her face.

"I've been feeling guilty for months, I swear," Cheryl told her affaid what she was going to say next.

"Cheryl, I think-I think we need to take a break," Veronica said trying to be calm.

More tears formed in Cheryl's eyes "no, no Ronnie please don't-"

"I've heard everything you have to say, right?" Veronica asked.

Cheryl nodded.

"Well, I want to break up," she said taking off the promise ring Cheryl had given her.

"No, no please don't please" she begged.

"I'm sorry" Veronica whispered placing the ring in the palm of her hand.

Then, before Cheryl could say another word Veronica left the room and ran out of the cabin into the dark woods.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Veronica sat deep in the woods on the ground throwing rocks into the water.

She felt nothing but void, so void she couldn't even shed simple tears.

Betty followed Veronica out, she had no idea what the hell was happening but she wanted to find out.

She sat next to the heartbroken girl "V?"

Veronica turned to her, and finally, a tear fell down her cheek.

"C-Cheryl," she started "Archie was drunk and he tried to make a move on her, a-and she wasn't even drunk and they slept together."

Betty was shocked but didn't beileve Cheryl would really do that to Veronica.

"How did you-"

"She told me," Veronica said cutting her off.

There was silence between the two friends, and rain was starting to pour slightly.

"I'm not even mad that she didn't tell me," she said thinking out loud "I'm mad because...because she slept with him and she wasn't even drunk. She must've known it was wrong, but she still did it anyway!"

"God, what am I doing wrong?!" Veronica continued "all I've ever wanted was for someone to love me. Love all of me, and be loyal to me. I've never been that bad, have I?! I just don't understand!"

Betty remained silent listening to Veronica pour her heart out while the rain landed on her hair.

"Maybe I fell for the wrong person, I don't know. But I hate this feeling, this feeling of nothing. Pure nothing. I hate it!" Veronica exclaimed all the tears finally leaving her eyes.

Betty wrapped her arms around Veronica, she didn't deserve to go through all of this.

"T-thank you Betty" she managed to choke out through her tears.

Betty still said nothing while stroking her black hair, trying to calm her down.

Then, there was a sound.

A gunshot.

The two girls broke apart, both of their heartbeats pounding.

The rain started pouring violently, and Betty knew one thing.

They weren't alone.
