"Are you sure we shouldn't take her to the hospital?"

"No, then Jughead's gonna get his ass kicked by her parents.

"Who says their gonna kick his ass?"

"Me!"

"Oh my God blood is getting on the couch!"

"It's only a little bit!"

Betty fluttered her eyes open to see only two people.

Toni and Joaquin.

"Oh great, she's awake, now she's gonna see that we just got blood on her boyfriend's couch!" Joaquin exclaimed.

Betty rubbed her head, the memories came rushing by like waves. She looked around to see that she was now in Jughead's trailer.

"Why did you take me here?" She asked.

"Because someone didn't want to take you to the hospital," Joaquin said glaring at Toni.

"Well, I'm sorry for looking out for my friend!" Toni fought back but then sighed. "Look we can fight later okay?"

Joaquin nodded quickly "I should find Jughead, can you stay with Betty?"

"I don't really have much of a choice" she muttered but Joaquin glared at her again.

"Yes, I'll do it," she said before he left. 

Toni sat down next to Betty on Jughead's couch, "sorry, Joaquin and I basically fight like brother and sister."

"Brother and sister" that word hung onto Betty. Making her remember the times when she and her sister fought just like them.

"You know" Toni began after getting up and getting Betty an icepack "you've got fire."

"Excuse me?" She asked putting the icepack to her temple.

"When you were talking with Sweetpea, I saw some of it" Toni admitted, "and, you've got a lot more than I expected."

"What do you mean?" Betty asked.

"Honestly, when I first talked to you I thought all you thought about was rainbows and unicorns. But, after today I realized that you could become a Serpent someday."

Betty was shocked "what?"

"Yeah, you heard me correctly, a Serpent," She told her "every Serpents has that fire in them, even if it's deep inside of them hiding."

Betty considered this. But what would her parents think, her friends, Riverdale?

But, then it didn't seem to matter what they thought.

"Look" Toni continued "I'm not saying you need to become a Serpent, but I think we need someone like you. Also, don't worry about the whole thing with Jughead, Sweetpea never wants to admit it but he actually likes Jughead and his only threatened by him because he doesn't want him to steal his spotlight. But if he found out that it wasn't his intention, maybe he could even officially join too."

Betty sighed "I don't know."

"You don't have to know," she told her "but it's good to think."

"Can we keep this conversation between us?" Betty asked.
