Ch. 21 dont say it

i'm triggered by a story I just read... I feel so weird about it. XD

The following morning ...

Adrien opened his eyes when he noticed someone laying next to him. It was Marinette, his girlfriend. They slept in the same bed. (A/N: They didn't have sex.) Adrien smiled and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Marinette opened slowly her eyes to reveal the blonde next to her. "Good morning, Adrien." She smiled at him and kissed his cheek. "Good morning, Mari. Slept well?" He asked and played soft with her hair. "I slept next to you, so..." She chuckled and Adrien smiled at her. Adrien's expression changed and he looked in deep thoughts. He stared at Marinette and didn't say anything. "What about a day off?" Adrien asked and stroked her hair, Marinette chuckled at him. "Adrien, it's vacation, we have two months off." Marinette cheered making Adrien laugh. "I mean, away from this hotel for a day. Only you and me." He suggested and Marinette sat up. "And what do you think about?" Marinette asked and Adrien shrugged. "I don't know, you can choose. We can have a beach day, or go to the city." He said and Marinette smiled wide. "I'd love to go to the beach with you." She said and pulled him in a big hug. They both fell on their backs on the bed and laughed hard. "Sorry..." She said innocent and Adrien smiled and stroked her hair.

Suddenly they heard a knock on the door. Marinette groaned because she didn't wanna leave Adrien, but she had to. "Let me open the door." Adrien said but Marinette stopped him.
"What if it are my parents? They will think it's weird that you opened the door." Marinette said and walked to the door.
She opened the door to reveal a blonde girl looking annoyed at her.
"Where is Adrien?" Chloe asked and peaked over Marinette her shoulder.
"I'm here, Chlo. What do you need?" Adrien asked and walked to the two girls. "We need to talk." Chloe smiled at him and Adrien nodded. "Sure, now? Or..." He stopped and looked unsure at Chloe. "Yes, now. Say goodbye to the trash." Chloe barked and Marinette rolled her eyes. Adrien frowned and glared at Chloe. "Don't talk about my Marinette like that." He said sternly and Chloe backed away a little. "Excuse me?" Chloe was obviously surprised and not in a good way.
"Yes, you heard it right, Marinette is my girlfriend now. So don't talk about her like that." Adrien said and wrapped his arm around her shoulders, making Marinette blush.
"Does your father know that?" Chloe asked and smiled with mischief.
Adrien froze for a second and looked pale at Chloe.
"N-No... Not yet at least." He said and Marinette crossed her arms on her chest. "Chloe, don't you dare." Marinette said and glared at the blonde girl.
"Then I think it's time he knows." Chloe laughed hard and walked away.

Marinette closed the door and Adrien sighed deep.
"Are you okay?" Marinette asked and looked concerned at her boyfriend, who shook his head and started to breath faster.
"Come, lay down." Marinette pulled him with her to the bed and he lay down on her bed.
She sat next to him and smiled soft. "Now tell me, what's the matter?" She asked and Adrien sighed.
"I don't know how my father will react to this." He said and rested his head in his hand. "What do you mean?" Marinette asked and stroked his head. He turned at Marinette and smiled.
(A/N: in this story Mama Agreste didn't disappear, but she and Gabriel are divorced. We will need it in the end of the story.)

"My parents are divorced and since then my father refuses to have anything to do with love." Adrien explained and Marinette nodded in understanding.
"He refuses to fall in love again. And the same for me, he doesn't want me to fall in love either, because he thinks it's bad or something." He said and sighed again.
"Every time he caught us kissing, Marinette, he was so furious it was almost scary. He screamed at me in his room and demanded me to forget you, which I wasn't going to do of course." He explained an pulled Marinette in a big hug. "I can talk to him, I mean, I can explain him that he has nothing to worry about." Marinette said and almost squeezed him. "No, don't do that. I understand why he's afraid, but I don't understand what this has to do with me." He said and kissed her cheek.
"We have to stop Chloe anyway. He better hears it from you then from Chloe." Marinette said and Adrien nodded. "I know. But my father isn't here now. He's on a meeting for three hours." Adrien said and Marinette nodded. "Then we still have time to stop her!" Marinette cheered and Adrien chuckled. He took his phone to send Chloe a message.

Me: Chlo, where are you?

Chlo😝: Where is your father?

Me: answer me first. Where are you?

Chlo😝: I'm looking for your father adrikins.

Me: he's in his room.

Chlo😝: really? you want me to say it to your father?

Me: i wanna tell him, but yea...

Chlo😝: Adrien, I won't say anything if you go on a date with me. 😏❤️

Me: I have a girlfriend for god's sake.

Chlo😝: she doesn't need to know. just one date.

Me: No chloe

Chlo😝: K

Adrien sighed and shook his head. "What?" Marinette asked and Adrien gave Marinette his phone. She read the messages and looked with unbelief at the phone.
"You want her to tell your father about us?" Marinette asked and Adrien shook his head.
"No No No! Chloe doesn't know that my father has a meeting. So if we're quick we can approach her." Adrien said and jumped out the bed.
Marinette followed him and they ran to his fathers room.

When they arrived at the room they saw Chloe calling someone and when she noticed us she looked annoyed. She hung up and walked at us.
"Adrikins, where is your father?" Chloe asked and jumped in his arms. "Chloe, please don't tell him about us." Marinette tried and Chloe rolled her eyes at Marinette.
"Marinette, Adrien is fine with it. Gabriel needs to know." Chloe said and laughed loud.
"What do I need to know?" A voice asked and everyone turned around.

"Ah, Gabriel. Just on time."
