Chapter 3

Hayloooo people🤗, finally a break from all the assignments... just for a while though🤦🏼‍♀️ anyways here's chapter 3 😀 hope you like it❤️

Next few days everything was good, I was feeling much more happier, me and chase were spending much more time together

I knew he was trying extra hard, with work and also trying to make me think all is good, when I knew it wasn't

I didn't want him to think that he had to do extra things to make me happy or hide how much stress he has from work. But I knew he was hiding it all from me since that night.

I now had to do something to atleast take some stress off him and thank him for everything

Booking a SPA salon, I quickly changed into my long sweater jumper and leggings with my ugg boots. (Ugg boots forever!) this weather was always changing, and I was currently rushing to the car to get away from the rain

10 minutes later I turned left into the parking in-front of the building, and quickly rushed out into the building to again avoid the rain, it never worked though.

I was first met with the receptionist who looked bored and was just staring straight into the computer in-front of her, first impressions? She was a beautiful lady honestly speaking

"Hi, can you show me where chase is at the moment?"

"Erm, do you have an appointment?"

"No I don't and I don't think I'd need one either, I'm his wife Kate"

As soon as I said that, the lady looked pissed but it was only for a split second before she put on a sickly sweet smile and gestured for me to follow her

Well okay then... that was weird but anyways no need to dwell on that, I have more important things to do, like get chase out of this office and into the SPA salon

The lady then opened the door in-front and let me in, once I walked in I looked back and saw that she was looking at me with a weird stare and it didn't look nice, but she quickly looked away and walked off closing the door behind her.

I walked forward toward chase and I saw that he had his head in his hands whilst sat at his desk,

"Chase? you okay?"

He quickly looked up and I was shocked at how different he looked, he looked really tired

"Kate? What are you doing here? Are you okay?"

"Yeh I'm good, but what's up with you?"

He didn't reply

I then quickly walked to him and he got up, I put both my hands on his face and looked him straight in the eyes,

"Tell me what's wrong?

He then touched my face with his hand and said

"nothing, it's just the stress from this assignment that we've been given, and there's less time, but it's all okay as we are waiting on a new partner to help us out"

"Okay if your sure, anyways come on I've come to take you somewhere"

I grabbed his hand and started moving towards the door, whilst he quickly grabbed his keys and phone

"Okay Kate, calm down I'm coming"
I could hear the smile in his voice and it just made me feel so content,

He then pulled me back and put his arms around my shoulders

We also walked past the receptionist who I found out was called Olivia, as I didn't even look at her name tag the first time round

And yeh, I got another weird stare

Once at the SPA, we had a full body massage and then spent some time together relaxing in the pool.

This was much needed after the last few days

We ended the day with a takeout and we're currently on the way home, looking at chase I realised how lucky I was and how much I loved this man

I was really happy and it was all with and because of Chase
