My main concern was the fact that I could feel the baby, as soon as I realised this I made sure the doctors knew!

"My baby's not moving! Can you check it now quickly!!"

I was shouting

Screaming

I could feel myself getting really worried

Feeling like I was helpless and couldn't do anything

I felt like I was losing my baby and was unable to do anything other than shout for the doctors to help me

Looking up at chase

"Chase... I can't feel the baby moving! Please do something"

I was crying

And I could see the pain on Chase's face

"Emergency room now, come on!"

Rushing me into a room, they plug a whole lot of computers and quickly get scanning

I know it before the doctor is able to tell me

I can see it on his face

I can't hear no heartbeat

Waking up to the light shining right on my face,

Looking around I see chase near the window looking out

I knew what had happened

And I knew that there was no baby inside me anymore

I also knew I had lost the child and would never see it again

I had been told it was a boy

A boy that I would never see grow up

And that was the most heartbreaking thought ever

Chase turned around, he'd seen that I had woken up. He walked towards the bed and put his hand on top of mine

I couldn't look at him, I felt drained

I had made such a big deal out of it when I had learned I was pregnant, I didn't want the child. And now that wish has come true, but at a time where I didn't want that to happen at all!

It was all my fault

And I'll be guilty of it for the rest of my life

"How are you feeling?"

Looking back to chase, "I'm so tired Chase"

He gives me a sad smile "we can go home soon, do you want me to get you anything to eat until then?"

Why is he acting like nothing has happened!

We've both lost our child!

"Chase! Are you serious! Why aren't you upset, why aren't you angry at me!?"

He looks at me confused

"Why would I be angry at you?"

"Well because it's all my fucking fault!"

"Kate are you for real right now?! This is not your fault at all"

I know it is

"Oh fuck off Chase, stop being a nice person for once and be fucking real about the situation, because I hate myself right now! And I know you do too"

"Kate, it's not your fault, we have both lost a child. It hurts you as much as it hurts me, and I know you wanted this child wholeheartedly,"

I know he wants to carry on with his nice talk but I really cannot be bothered for the reassurance right now

"Just get out of here now, I really cannot be bothered."

Moving my hand away, I look away from him

He doesn't move

"Chase just fuck off! Give me time!"

He walks off and he's out the door the next second

I wait a while, and then call for the nurse. Asking when I can leave

She tells me I can leave as soon as I've signed the papers

10 mins later, I'm walking out the hospital hailing a taxi closeby

I haven't seen chase and I'm happy he hasn't seen me

As I get in the taxi, I get a call from Ethan,

"Kate, where are you?"

I tell him about what happened

And the next second I'm giving the driver the address to Ethan's house
