Back after a long timeeee..... busy with exams and all of thattt, but trying to finish this story of as soon as possible 🤗

My phone had been ringing for the past 10 minutes, Chase was trying to get in touch with me,

I still couldn't believe how different my life was this morning to now

All in a few minutes

This was all my fault, but I wanted the baby now and I dreamed of the happy family that I could have had

Ethan was currently in the kitchen, making coffee

He had been very supportive but he was also trying to get me to talk to Chase

I was adamant

I look over to Ethan and he's on his phone, I don't take much notice of it

Until 10 minutes later Chase walks through the door, he storms over to me and stands in front of, picking me up the sofa

"What the actual fuck,  what is wrong with you? You literally just left me to fucking search all over the place for you!"

"You don't know how helpless I felt! I couldn't do anything. I lost my child and then you.. you.. argh"

He moves away with his hands in the air "you.. you just didn't care about me did you"

I look away knowing how stupid I was being

I was so stressed and upset

I move near to him and hug him, he's still for a bit until he moves his hands around my waist and snuggles his face in my hair

"Kate..."

"Let's go home Chase, bye Ethan"

Ethan waves from the kitchen with a smile

Inside the house, I walk to the room with Chase and slowly sit on the bed

"You know, I really can't believe this has happened, it was so close to the delivery date. Full 9 months and then this..."

I'm unable to carry on talking, and look down crying

Chase sits down next to me, and I know he's also really upset as his voice is really heavy. He puts his hands around my shoulders from the side

"We was waiting for our baby, but it just wasn't meant to be this time, it's going to be really hard but we'll need to move forward from this Kate"

I turn to look at him "it's just... just really upsetting. I don't know what to say or do, I feel so empty like there's nothing for me"

He hugs me

"My love, I'm here for you"

"I know and I love you, I'm grateful for all that you do for me, I really am"

He gives me a smile, "okay now come on, let's get to bed"

We go to the bathroom, and finish of brushing our teeth and make way for the bed

3 weeks later

I was currently sat on the sofa, watching the news. Chase was meant to be on today. As he had won the award for the best firm, and today he was being interviewed. He had gone to America for the award ceremony

He had been away for 2 days, but would be returning for the next 3 days

I missed him a lot, he didn't want to go but I made sure he went, he deserved the award

I didn't want him to waste such an opportunity just because I was holed up in the house

He had become an overnight celebrity with the award, watching the awards I saw how girls were really interested in talking to him, and during their interviews were full of praises for him

It was weird as I always had him to myself and never really had girls fawning over him

But I had full trust in Chase

He had mentioned me in the speech and I knew girls would by now know he's married

The interview was over

And I got a call from Chase "hey sweetheart, seen my interview?"

He was very excited and I was so happy for him, I couldn't stop the big smile on my face from breaking out

And the little giggle

That was the first time since a while

"Chase that was so good! I'm so proud of you. Love you so much my love"

"I love you too, I'm so blessed right now..."

Before he can carry on talking I hear a girl in the background "...oh hi, Chase Cooper right?"

I can hear Chase, "hi, yeah that's me? One minute"

He talks to me "Kate, I'll ring you back soon okay, love you"

"Bye Chase"

He puts the phone off

I guess he's really starting to get busy now

But he deserves all the happiness and I'm happy that he's getting all these opportunities

That night, Chase still hadn't rang me back, I sent him a text which I didn't get a reply to

I also rang him continuously until I fell asleep

The next day was a disaster

I had just logged into my Facebook account, whilst in bed, to see videos of a guy hugging and kissing another girl, you couldn't see any of their faces, I didn't care until, I read the caption

My life had fell apart
