3 weeks later

Hearing the outside door close, I rubbed my eyes to realise chase had already left for work, huh

That's weird I was always up before chase, he should have woke me up. Just as I was about to ring chase, my stomach churned and I quickly rushed to the bathroom and puked my guts out

The past few days I had been going through this every morning and now it was actually getting really annoying

Chase obviously never knew as I was always up before and once he's asleep he has no idea what's happening around him, I can literally be banging the doors around the whole house and he wouldn't wake up

I never had the chance to mention it to him, and to be honest I don't think I actually gave this enough importance as I just went along with the thought of it being a silly virus that's going around

After splashing water on my face, I pat it with a dry towel and exit the bathroom.

Thinking about the sickness more, the idea of being pregnant popped up in my head, but no it couldn't be.

Chase used protection every time, I don't think we could take on the responsibility of a child right now, I don't know what chase thought, but I surely wasn't ready for a baby yet.

I had to get this checked out, the vomiting was draining the life out of me and I was feeling much more weak

Looking out the window to see the weather, I sigh

I don't even know why I bother looking when it's always cold and raining. Quickly dressing into my long wool jumper and jeans, I pick up my phone and realise I have 2 missed calls from chase and a message from him,

I'll just have to ring him later on,

Arriving at the doctors clinic, I walk to the reception and explain the problem I've been having and ask for my doctor, to see if I'd be able to get him to check me

With the doctor at the clinic today, I secure an appointment with him as soon as, as he was a family doctor of my parents and we knew each other for a long time. His name was Kane Seller, and he had always been my doctor since I was born I'd say.

Unless it was an emergency, I never got checked by anyone else other than him.

20 minutes of waiting and finally I get called

Walking into the room, I see Kane sat at his desk typing something on the laptop infront of him, he looks up when he realises I'm there

"Oh hi Kate, long time no see. Keeping out of trouble I guess" he comes towards me with a laugh and gives me a hug

Pulling out of the hug, I give him a big smile "well I was, until now"

Kane had always been like a uncle for me, we had our own little friendship, and instead of injections I would get some nice syrup as a medicine
