Two weeks ago, I had a fever. Unlike the other fever I had before, it needed five days for me to finally feel better.
I never had a fever that long.

Never.

I usually would have fever for one night and the next day, I'd be fine.

But the last fever I had was killing me.
Five days in bed with heavy head, cough, sore throat and teary eyes.

The most logical explanation is I had the fever because I just finished a week filled of tests.
XD

Probably I worked too much and my body gave up.

But my condition became a great way for my brother to annoy me.

Seriously, he always finds a way to make me angry.

The first day I was sick, my brother didn't care too much about it. Because like I've said before, I never fall sick for too long.

The second day I had a fever, my brother visited my room.
He appeared with his usual face. He didn't say it but I knew he's worried.
That brother of mine should've known that I can read his face.
I am his sister for almost eighteen years now.

I was too weak to make a comment about his appearance in my room so I just let him.
My brother didn't say anything though, he just touched my forehead to check my temperature then he said nothing.
He stayed in my room for hours.

I didn't pay attention what he did. I was closing my eyes almost entire time.
But it felt good to have a company in that state.

I was thinking AB was being so sweet by not disturbing me and letting me take some rest when I felt a wet towel on my face.

No, no. Not just wet, it's too wet.
Like the towel was just dipped into a bowl of cold water the second before it was put on my head.

I swear it's surprised me a lot.
Instinctively, I picked the towel out of my face and threw it back at him.

"AB!!!!! What are you doing???? Get out!!!"

My brother looked as surprise as I was when the towel landed on his face. Near my desk, there's a bowl he must be used to dip the towel.
"Oi, Minion!!! What the hell? I'm trying to help. You're hot like burning stove."

"By putting flooded towel in my face? Can't you squeeze it a bit before?"

"That's for the fever, you know. It will sink your high temperature faster. I'm a professional."

Professional???? What does he know about fever??? He's a student of electricity major for God sake!!!!!

I didn't know what he had in his mind at that time.
The fight ended up by AB kept telling me to use the compress and my head became heavier cause I yelled too much.

The next day I still hadn't recovered and mom thought it's time to bring me to see the doctor.

Mom asked permission from her office for several hours to take me.
The bad news is, it was my brother who drove the car.
With my brother behind the wheel, you'll find yourself praying on your seat to not let his speed crush you.
He passed the speed bumps and holes on the road without taking slower, pretending that they were not existed. That made my head dizzy.

Mom had told him to reduce his speed but he said that was slow for him.

Dang him!!!! It's almost ninety kilometers per hour and he said that's not fast???

The fourth day of my fever probably the worst.
AB offered to watch me that day since mom couldn't take another day off.
And when he appeared in my room, he brought every snacks I love.
Every snacks that the doctor said I should avoid until I feel better.

It needed all of me to not let myself launch at him and claim them.

Shutting my mouth into a line, I let him chewing the food beside me while we watched in the laptop.

Hotel Transylvania 2. One of my favorite.

But the peace was broken by my lovely brother.

"Hey, Minion, it's been four days. Are you sure it's just an ordinary fever?"

"What do you mean 'ordinary fever'?"

"Well, you know, it's probably dengue fever or malaria. Or worse." AB said.

"Brother!!!!! Don't scare me like that!! I'll be fine."

He hummed to himself, scratching his chin. Clearly he was thinking something more annoying to say.

"Perhaps we have to take you to the lab and check your blood."

"I'M NOT SUFFERING FROM MALARIA."

"Okay, dengue fever then."

"AB!!!"

I almost cried after that.
He made me really terrified.

Thank goodness my fever completely happened because I was exhausted.
I didn't want to spend days being hospitalized.

Personally, I think it's AB who slowing down my healing process.

😅😅😅
