My Big Brother and His Little Sister

I have occupied my apartment. But for a week, I won't be here by myself, as AB and Mom will be with me. They had decided that they wouldn't want me to spend my early days in college alone and I can't thank them enough.

They helped me unpack my things first.
I didn't bring too much stuff so it didn't take us long to do it. Plus, I have mom. So arranging the things was not difficult.

Oooh, and the laptop is mine now. Since AB is graduating next month, he officially let me have it completely to help me in my college task.
He may not be play the games with it anymore but he has his smartphone so he'll survive.

He can be really generous sometimes.

After my clothes and things had been set up tidily, we cleaned it a bit. Mom asked me if I want to repaint the walls but I think ivory is not a bad color for a room. So I shook my head as no.

When my room was done. I asked my brother and mom to visit the owner of the apartment, Mr. and Mrs. Bima. They live just across the street. Since mom and AB will stay with me for a week, I have to inform them first. They're a couple with three children of which, the first and the second had married and were living separately. The youngest one is a year younger than me.

Mom made me a bit flushed when I introduced her to them. She told the spouse to take care and keep an eye on me. She even asked for their number!!!
In case she can't contact me.
Jeez, mom!!! XD

I tried to make my brother stop her but if you think he did, then you're wrong. He was on her side and asked me to shut up.
😑😑😑

The husband and wife persuaded us to have lunch with them and we couldn't say no.
I have to say that I'm glad seeing mom and Mrs. Bima get along very well.

After we spent about an hour there, we decided to leave and took a walk around my apartment.

Mom was satisfied seeing the environment.
There are no creepy alleys and there's a twenty four hours supermarket.
There are a few taverns too. Maybe the food here are not something I usually eat in my own town but after a few days, I hope I'll get used to it.

Before we got home, mom asked me to accompany her to buy fruits for the owner of my apartment at the nearest market. A return for the delicious meals they served us.

When we finishing paid for the oranges, we realized that my brother was no where to be found.

Mom suddenly turned to panic.
Though he's able to take care of himself, we were in a foreign place. It's not wise to wonder around alone.
I was worried too, especially the market was pretty crowd at the time. But I tried my best to not look as worried as mom or she would grow more concern.

Jeez!!!! That brother of mine. It's our first day here and he has made mom almost get a heart attack.
I wanted to look for him but mom refused to stay so we both left the market.

We found AB near a corner of the street. He was sitting in a security post, talking to two securities there.
Seeing him, mom stomped towards him and twisted his ear, resulting laughs from the men.

I felt sorry for AB but I couldn't stop myself from laughing as well.
I'm a horrible sister. 😂😂😂😂

It turned out that AB questioned the men about the area.
The securities informed us that the most cases they heard are robbery.
In fact, recently a man just lost his phone and some cash. What scared me is that the man was sleeping inside his room when the thing happened.

Gosh! The thief was brave for sure.

I have to make sure my door and windows are secured. 😓😓😓😓

They also told me that it's better to not leave my room alone after ten. It's pretty empty at the time like that. It's better to just call the delivery service if I'm hungry.
We thanked them for the warnings and left, back towards my apartment.

The information are useful for sure. But no matter how important they are, it didn't save AB from my mother's long lecture. XD

Hey, guys. Hope you like this chapter.
Maybe one or two more chapters for this book and I'll mark it as complete.
Since AB and me will live in two different countries, it will be rare to have a story about us anymore. Haha. XD
