Chapter 6: "Nothing Lee-Baby"

What is up with this girl. She dances like she's been to thousands of parties, but she doesn't drink and she hates any physical contact-- besides with her brother or Adeline and even then sometimes she still finches.

The girl on my arm was purring unattractively. "Come on babe lets get out of here," she ran her manicured finger down my chest.

Adeline began talking with a guy that looked like he was as high as a bird. I saw Will tense up in my peripheral. I knew the guy had a crush on my sister, in fact, he told me when we were fifteen he told me. That was the first day I punched one of my close friends.

Lilly glanced my way. I did what most f*ckboys would do to get a girl.

I winked.

All my hopes and dreams went down the drain when she rolled her eyes. Well d*mn. I turned to the girl-- Becky I think-- and kissed her. I kept looking at Lilly to garner her reaction.

She turned her head and began walking--meeting a tall guy in the middle of the dance floor. She smiled and began to grind against the guy she just met. The mother f*ucker had the nerve to put his hands on her hips.

Just as Lilly tensed up and stopped her circular motion, the lights flickered out.

And screams filled the air.

Lilly

The metal was tightening around my throat, biting into my skin. The cold metal was dropped whit a clang and the lights flickered on. I put a cautious hand to my throat and felt a warm liquid, pulling my fingers away from my neck, I saw a red liquid staining my hand. I faintly heard someone screaming my name at the back of my head, but all I could see was the metal locket on the ground.

The silver heart locket.

Dana put her hand to her heart-locket, I nervous habit. The locket was a gift from our mom, Dana got the locket and I got a ring-- both with matching floral themes.

She continuously looked in the rear-view mirror. "Sissy, whats wrong?" Dana looked at me cautiously, she knew I only used that nick-name when I was scared.

"Nothing Lee-Baby," She smiled weakly.

As we were pulling up on an intersection, Dana gave an audible sign that the light was green.

I slowly bent down and picked up the delicate locket. The necklace was silver with rust blooming on the chain. The engraving on the locket-- flowers and leaves intertwined with a vine-- grew out from the initial D. I ran my finger along the familiar metal.

BANG!

Everything went black. All I heard was a loud ringing. My head was throbbing and I couldn't feel my legs. I opened my eyes as the world swirled. The car was upside down. We were in a car accident. I looked to my left at Dana. There was blood running down her face. I looked out her window with blurry vision. Black combat boots were walking towards us.

Help.

They crouched down. I couldn't see their face, but I saw their hands move to Dana's neck-- checking her pulse. They chuckled and stood up. On their way towards me, they suddenly stopped.

Sirens.

The person began sprinting away. I attempted to move my arms, but the world was spinning faster and darkness was forming on the side of my vision. Soon everything turned black.

"Lilly!" turn clenching the necklace in my hand, "We need to go," Noah yelled. His face was serious, though if you looked into his sickeningly blue eyes, you could see fear. His glacier eyes, so cold they almost seem to hold no warmth. "Lilly, now!"

What I hadn't noticed before, while lost in my head was the familiar banging of guns.

HOLY SH*T! GUNS!

Noah grabbed my wrist in the same spot his twin held it earlier.

And then we were running.

Where's Adeline, and Liam, and everyone else?

"Don't worry they're fine. The boys know how to take care of themselves Will went after Adeline."

So... hows life?

Mine isn't the best right now. My two best friends ditched me and turned into b*tches over the course of a week. I've known one since 2nd grade and the other since 5th. But you know maybe its time to turn over a new leaf.

I have my amazing friends that I've decided to become closer with, Madeline AKA the actual mom of the group, Lily AKA take your f*cking medicine, Abby AKA don't skip socials studies anymore, ummm.... there are more but I cant come up with any clever AKAs for.

Honestly, as much as I try and dilute the intensity of the situation with my friends, it hurts a lot. And it makes me sad, but being able to go into this world I create when I write this story helps and being able to talk to you guys helps too. I love the support I get from you.

It's by jason_is_babe. Such a wonderful babes its so beautiful. I was looking for a cover when I accidentally clicked on their profile when they followed me and I saw that they made covers and I was like, "Oh let me check this out, this sh*t might be really good," and OMG they made me a cover.

I don't have any boy toy updates...

Did I mention I got sick today at school but my dad wouldn't let me leave? That sucked, my stomach it hurt so bad I could barely walk.

Also, I found out I'm most likely ADHD... which makes sense.
