Lili was feeling down.

Her anxiety had been getting worse and worse after Cole had to go to New York for two whole weeks, leaving her alone in their apartment.

Cole was also sad.

He didn't want to leave Lili, especially now. He knew work was hard on her lately, all the long hours and chasing sleep.

Before he'd left -at the airport- he had told her how much he loved her, and that if she was feeling sad, or having any kind of trouble, that she had to call, no matter what. She had nodded, promising, and hugged him for a long time, leaving a couple of pecks on his lips, before loosening her grip around his torso.

Watching him pull out his passport and ticket, handing them to the middle-aged woman behind the counter, Lili felt strange, sad. It was a different kind of sadness, the kind of loosing someone you loved. She hadn't dealt with much loss yet, so this was a new feeling, and it made her uncomfortable.

In the car home she had pulled over, swiftly wiping a tear that had managed to roll down her cheeks, the cold January air making them go a rosy pink. "It's only for two weeks, Lili" she told herself, over and over again.

But two weeks was a very long time, when it came to this. Her and Cole.
And she missed him already.

The first week went by like the wind, and they FaceTimed every day, multiple times. She would walk with her phone in hand at set, talking to her boyfriend. She would talk to KJ while talking to Cole. She would also talk to Camila or Mads or even Vanessa while talking to Cole, just because he made her feel safe.

Cole would watch her through his phone, smiling and laughing with their mutual friends, knowing that in a little over a week, he would get to be there with them, that he would get to hug them, and kiss Lili on her cheek or her knuckles or her lips. He could kiss her where ever he fucking wanted, which pleased him very much.

But then came the last week, when it all came crashing down. Lili's anxiety was out the roof, and she would cry herself to sleep every night. It wasn't like she hadn't before, but then Cole would normally wrap his arms around her and whisper soothing things in her ear. Things like; 'I love you, we all love you' or 'you're fine, baby, you're okay', reassuring her of his- and her friends existence and presence in her life, and she would fall asleep listening to his words.

Cole was sleeping.
It was 4:55 AM, and he'd been out late taking some shots with his new camera. His nightstand vibrated slightly as his phone rung. Cole groaned, being awoken from his peaceful slumber, dreaming about Lili, again.

He picked up his phone, swiping to the right with a grin, allowing Lili's FaceTime request go through. When their phones finally connected, Lili's tearstained face showed up on his screen making his smile drop immediately, being replaced with a deep frown.

"I miss you" She said with a sob, hiding her face in her sheets. His stomach churned at the sight of his very sad and depressed girlfriend crying. "God Lils, I miss you too" he said, a concerned face taking over for the frown. "What's wrong, baby?" He said, wishing for nothing but to hold her and tell her everything was going to be okay.

"I'm just overwhelmed without you here," she starts, wiping a few tears "God, I must be the clingiest girlfriend ever" she said, chuckling sadly. "Go back to sleep, love. Don't worry about me." She said, trying to hide the new tears, threatening to spill. "No no no, Lili you're not being clingy. I told you to call, remember? You promised, and now you're keeping that promise," he says "and nothing is wrong with that."
Cole smiles reassuringly at her, trying to hide the deep frown etched on his forehead. "Now tell me; what's really wrong?"

"I just miss you. My anxiety is working up, and my panic attacks have been coming more frequently." She says sadly, looking down. And with that Cole decides that he's going home again. "I'm catching the next flight back to Vancouver." He says, getting up to pack.

"Don't try and stop me cause it ain't happening!" He exclaim, before she could even say a word. Cole puts on his shirt, walking around in only his boxer briefs. "Fuck! Where's my pants?" He asks, scratching the back of his neck, walking around throwing all clothes in the red suitcase. When he finally finds them Lili has fallen asleep on the other line, so he tells her good night, and hangs up.

The next morning Lili woke up, her eyes swollen, and cheeks a bit sore from all the crying. She smiles a tad to herself, thinking about her lovely boyfriend on his way home. She checks her phone for messages, her grin widening as she sees she's gotten one from Cole.

My plane leaves at 6:30 AM. I'll be home in no-time baby!

She laughs, calculating when he'll actually be back. His plane will be landing at 12:25, and an hour and a half from the airport here, he'll be here around 2 PM.

It was Sunday, and Lili had a day off. She had normally planned to spend it with tissues, Netflix and Ben & Jerry's, but Cole's return had made her change her plans. Well, really not though, she was still doing all of that, just minus the tissues.

At approximately 2:03 PM Cole's key turned around in the keyhole, and he opened the door, sighing happily as he saw his girlfriend asleep on the couch, wrapped in blankets watching Gilmore Girls. He dropped all of his stuff to the ground, and made his way over to her.

He laid down on top of her, and kissed her lips. It took about ten seconds before she responded, cupping his face gently. Pulling back, he looked down at her beaming, happy to be home in her arms. "I missed you." She sighed, pecking his lips softly. "I missed you too, love." Cole said, resting his head on her stomach, leaving small kisses here and there. Eventually they both fell asleep, happily to be back with each other again.

Lili's eyes fluttered open, and she took in her surroundings with a small grin. Cole was laying next to her, sleeping like a baby. He must've carried her to their bed earlier, and gotten her dressed to her pajamas. The pajamas were booty shorts and a tank top, but she liked Cole's better. He was sleeping shirtless with a pair of blue, flannel pajama bottoms on.

She wrapped her arms around his torso, leaving small kisses on his bare chest, watching it raise evenly as he took each deep breath. "God, I love you so much Lili" Cole breathes out, eyes closed and mouth turned up in a goofy smile.

"I love you too, sleepyhead." She replies, looking at the watch on her nightstand, it read 9:23 AM, they had slept all through the night.

"Why do you keep up with me, Cole?" Lili asks sighing, closing her eyes. "I have so many flaws, why not just leave?"

Cole opens his eyes and sits up, bringing her with him. She looks down at the mattress. Cole cups her face making her look at him, smiling gently at her.

"Your flaws are what made me fall in love with you." He says, kissing her nose.

"You're my kind of perfection."

Her green eyes search his and is met by another green gaze. A very serious green gaze, reassuring her that everything is true.

"I love you."

"So damn much." Cole replies.
