Hey, I'm having a really bad time rn, and I needed something to cheer me up. This short drabble is for both me and you.

Cole rushed out of the People's Choice Awards as soon as he'd gotten his award. Well, awards. There were two, you see.
Once he'd ridden the limo back to his hotel he rushed up the stairs, not bothering to wait for the elevator. His awards were tucked into his backpack, that he'd brought with him.
He was mildly out of breath as he entered up the ninth floor, and thought to himself, "wow, I really oughta quit smoking."
He walked with purpose toward his door, pulling his keycard out as he stalked down the corridor.
The clicking could be heard in the lock mechanism as he touched the card against the lock-pad, and he opened the door carefully, just in case she was asleep.
As he entered he heard the sheets rustle and a squeal broke through the otherwise silent room.
"Oh my god!" Lili laughed and threw her arms around him as he saw her. "I'm so proud of you!"
"Thank you, love," he chuckled and hugged her tighter. Her arms were around his neck and she placed a kiss to the crease between his shoulder and his neck.
"You got two!" She said excitedly.
Cole laughed quietly into her soft hair, clearly newly-washed, "I did."
"You did so good, baby," she said and tilted her head to catch his lips with hers, still tightly locked in their embrace. He leaned down to her, because his shoes were slightly heeled, and kissed her gently, savoring her touch.
They pulled back and just looked at each other for a little while.
"Did you know one of your eyes are green but the other one is slightly more blue?" She muttered, eyes flicking from his left to his right eye and back.
He rolled said eyes, "not really."
"I've never seen that before," she muttered with a slight frown between her brows.
He placed a thumb there and rubbed at the wrinkled skin, "careful. I know you're scared of the wrinkling. That won't help it."
She giggles, "always looking out for me, huh, Sprouse?"
"Always, Reinhart," he nodded and grinned.
"And also, you literally have golden flecks in your eyes, so like mine don't matter as much anymore." He winked at her.
"Your eyes are like a mix of spring and fall," he mentioned, "color-wise."
She rolled them, and untangled herself from him, "whatever." She laughed.
"Get out of that gorgeous, but scratchy suit and come cuddle." She said with a flirty, adorable smile, as she walked backwards toward their bed, and plopped down on it unceremoniously.
"Your wish is my command, your majesty," he did an awkward too-over-the-top bow, before starting to shed his clothes.
"Would you mind getting my pj pants out of my bag, baby? And some fresh boxers?"
Lili hummed in approval, "'course."
"Thank you, beautiful," he took the clothes from her appreciatively and kissed her lips in a soft peck, "I love you."
"Love you more," She said absentmindedly, rolling back in bed and grabbing her phone from the nightstand.
"Did you see that Roberto posted about you on his page? With a bughead promo-pic to match," she laughed.
He shook his head no, "I haven't been on my phone yet," he pulled on his boxers and forewent the pants before hopping under the covers with her.
"Can I see?" He asked her and she handed her phone over. He read the caption before moving his eyes toward the picture.
He looked at her, "We're so cute."
She giggled, "hell yeah we are!" She put her hand up for a high five and he smacked his palm against her in reciprocation.
"Wanna order some pizza? Those tiny foods at the reception was not enough," Cole said as he ran his fingers through her hair.
"Sure," She said, "pizza and Dairy Queen?" She grinned and he kissed her mouth for a good five seconds.
"Pizza and DQ, coming right up, babe."

an: hi pretties. I'm sorry I don't post regularly anymore, but every now and then you'll get a post and I guess it's kinda like a surprise now. Anyway, I only write when I'm inspired and I needed some cheering up today, so I wrote some domestic sprousehart. Sorry it's short.
