TBS IMAGINE //THE MIDNIGHT DRIVE\\

I felt a hand on my shoulder, it rubbed my gently till I opened my eyes. I turned around facing Thomas. He had clothes on and a scarf.

"Where are you going?" I asked with a tired voice. "It's over midnight."

He bit his bottom lip and smiled.

"It's a surprise, now come on take clothes on."

I sat up and he went out of our room. What the hell was he planning to do? Anyway, I did what he told me to do and took some warm clothes on with thick socks. I walked out in the kitchen where Thomas was taking some sandwiches and sodas out. When did he made them? He smiled and put them in a basket. He took the basket and grabbed my hand. Taking me with him outside and in his car.

"Are you ready babe?" He asked me, I was unaware what the hell he was planning to do.

"I guess.."

He started the car and began driving out of our driveway and out on the empty road. He sat some music on and and banged his fingers on the steering wheel. I laughed at him when he tried to sing along to the song when he obviously didn't know the lyrics.

"Babe stop," I laughed taking my hand to my mouth. "You're not god.."

He giggles and looked at me. His eyes shined in the midnight light. I turned around looking out of the window. We're at a forest?

"Are you driving me out here to kill me?" I asked with a smile.

"You're ruining it," He teased. "It was supposed to be a surprise."

I laughed at his stupidity and asked where he was gonna take me.

"You'll see.."

We drove for a while and finally he parked. We got outside and he took the basket with food and sodas.

"Come on," He said and reached for my hand. I took it. "I'll show you the plaice, it's not far from here."

I followed him into the forests where we walked a little, we finally made to our destination, or so I thought.

"We need to go up this hill," he said pointing up. "Your surprise is up there."

"Are you kidding me?" I asked out of breath. "I can't go up there."

"You can, And you will," He teased.

"You're killing me."

He laughed slightly and helped me getting up the hill. After two minutes we reached the top. And god.. the view. Moonlight shining down on us and the fresh air playing with our hair. I turned around facing Thomas laying out a little blanket and packed out the snack and sodas.

"Are you kidding me?" I laughed and almost cried at the same time.

"I'm not, now come down here to me," he smiled at me, waiting for me to join him.

I did what he said and felt his arm wrapping around me waist pulling me closer to him. We sat there for a while, eating drinking and talking.

"Why did you do this?" I asked.

"Did what?"

I pulled me away from him so I could look him directly in his eyes.

"Don't play stupid," I grinned. "Why did you take me outside, in the middle of the night out in a forest so we could eat picnic."

He bit his bottom lip again, I loved when he did that.

"Because I miss adventure," he said. "And I miss you."

"But I'm right her-"

"I know," he interrupted. "But i.."

He looked down at his half eaten sandwich and his opened coke.

"I just miss this, just us being us. I miss taking on adventure with you. We're still young and should be out there exploring the world, maybe to Greece or Italy as we have been talked about. Before we know of it, we're both old and wrinkled with a little house surrounded by trees."

I smiled and cupped his face.

"If you want adventure just say so, I'll go with you everywhere, any time, any place."

He waited for a second before replying.

"Let's get the hell out of this forest," he suddenly said. "Let's drive to another place."

We stood up and he started packing.

"Like where?" I said giggling.

"I don't know, but that's what it is exciting."

I smiled at him rushing to get all the things back in the basket. He took my hand an we ran down the hill and to the car. We jumped in and he started it.

"You're ready?" He asked.

"Always baby."

So he started the car, and drove out of nowhere. Not knowing where our next destination would be. This is what we've been waiting for. Just to leave the  every day life behind, and go on adventure with the love of my life.
