NEWT IMAGINE //LET'S STAY ALIVE\\

I laid down with three of my best friend in the glade on the dark green gras that almost shined in the moon light. We laid down silently in a circle with our heads together and looked up at the dark sky and how the stars glittered. Suddenly I felt a hand on mine and looked at my left.

"The stars are so shiny tonight," Newt said. "Wonder How they'll look like out from the glade."

"Probably more shiny," Minho said.

"Probably," Thomas muttered.

We all looked at silence again and sometimes heard the sounds from the maze that changed and the grievers screams.

"I don't care if the stars are more shiny out from the glade, I'm just happy we can watch this together, as friends and still being alive."

"I'm pretty sure, that if you could've remembered how the stars looked from out here, you wouldn't say that right now," Thomas said.

"Probably, But I cant remember anything."

Another moment of silence.

"Well Guys, I think I'm going to bed, I need sleep if I have to run the maze to get ya outta here, right?" He gave us a smirk as he stood up and gave Thomas a wink. "You should do the same Thomas."

"Alright Papa," He said and we all laughed slightly.

He stood up and they left Newt and I in the moonlight. We still held hands and sometimes he would give my hand small squeezes.

"Y/n," he said and turned his face to me.

"Yeah?"

"If we would ever get out of here, do you promise me, that we'll watch the stars again together?"

I bit my bottom lip and felt my head turn warm. I crawled over to Newt and laid on my side so I could watch his dark brown puppy eyes.

"I promise, but let's just keep us self alive until then."

He nodded and let his arm slip under my neck so I could use it as a pillow. I wrapped one of my arms around his stomach and pulled myself in so I could feel his chin on the top of my head.

"I love you, and I'll protect you, no matter the costs," Newt said out of the blue and I could feel his lips press down on my head.

"I love you too, Newt," I said and closed my eyes.
