                                                                                  Kara

"I have always loved you and I will always love you." Mon-El's words ring in my ears. Mon-El loves me? We sit in silence for a few minutes until I finally work up the courage to speak.

"Mon-El, when you left, a part of me died that day. I almost lost myself. But then I thought, is this what Mon-El would want for me? For 7 months, I struggled to get through everyday. I couldn't even get up at first. It was too hard. Then, I saw you on that ship. Everything just came rushing back. You were home. Then you told me you were married. I broke all over again. I was just starting to think that there was no hope for me. That's why it was so easy for me to shut off my humanity to fight Reign. But what you said just now, it gave me hope. You gave me hope."

Tears are streaming down my face and Mon-El's eyes are tearing up. We hug and when we pull apart, Mon-El starts to speak again.

"Kara, thank you for understanding. What does this mean for us?"

"I don't know. I mean, you're still married to Imra." Mon-El starts to shake his head.

"Not anymore. As soon as I locked her up I went to our marriage certificate. It was locked in a safe on the ship. I tore it up. I didn't need to though. One of our promises to each other was to never hurt the other. Because she was planning on hurting you, she hurt me. It instantly terminated the marriage. I love you Kara."

"You broke your marriage for me?"

"I would do anything for you. You should know that." At that I flung myself at him, wrapping my arms around his neck and I kissed him.

The next morning, I wake up to Mon-El's arm around my shoulder. We fell asleep on the couch after talking for hours about all that we missed with each other. He had a lot more stories to tell, obviously. I slowly get up and I go take a shower. I'm about to get dressed when I get a sudden headache. What the hell? It must be some after effect from the coma. I get dressed and I go wake Mon-El up.

"Wha- what's up?" Mon-El is so cute when he's half asleep.

"I'm going to work." At that he wakes up completely.

"Are you sure that's a good idea. You just got out of a coma Kara."

"It's not up for negotiation. I'm going. I'll see you when I get back." I kiss him and head to work.

When I get to work, I head directly to James's office. Looking down at my tablet as I walk right in.

"What do you wa- ah," I look up to see Lena and James kissing. They jump apart and start mumbling apologies.

"Guys, it's okay. You're together now. I understand." They look shyly at each other before James realizes something.

"What are you doing here Kara? You need to rest." I shake my head.

"I feel great." Except for the splitting headache, but I'm not about to tell him that. Lena frowns.

"Are you sure Kara? You don't look so great." I nod.

"So what were you saying before you came in?" James asks.

"I was just asking what you wanted me to do with the article you had me write about Supergirl being beaten by Reign." James grabs the article and looks it over. He frowns.

"Um.. this isn't the Supergirl article. It's a grocery list." I laugh nervously and take it from him.

"Sorry, I must have accidentally switched them up." I hand him the one below it, hoping that it's the right one. For some reason all of the words are blurred. I can't read anything. He reads the one I handed him.

"Alright, this is good. Great work Kara." He goes over and sits at his desk and Lena follows him, reading the article. I walk out and head to my office. When I get there I grab a sheet of paper and write my name, But all I see are blobs of nothing. Eve Teschmacher, James's personal assistant walks in and hands me a sheet of paper.

"Here's your article," Eve looks down at the paper with my name on it. She smiles. "Did a little kid do that for you. That's so sweet. I volunteer at the hospital every once and a while and.." her voice fades out as I start panicking. Eve finishes whatever she was saying and walks out. As soon as she leaves, I grab my purse and leave. I get to the DEO and when I spot Brainiac, I practically run to him.

"Oh hey. What's up Supergirl?"

"Brainiac, something's wrong with me."
