I land on the top of a roof and I hide the knife behind my back. When Reign gets here, she doesn't even bother to hide hers.

"You came," Reign says, her voice burning with pure hatred.

"Did you think I wouldn't?" I yell back at her. She laughs.

"Considering I almost killed you last time, yeah. I thought that you would be too scared to come." She scowls. "Have you seen Purity around? I can't seem to find her. You wouldn't have anything to with that would you?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about. Now less talking and more fighting."

I lunge toward her and she swipes at me with the knife. I dodge it at the last second and pull the knife out from behind my back.

"What's a little knife going to do to me?"

"More than you think." I yell. I swipe at her with it and I manage to cut her arm.

"Ow,"she screams. "What the hell?" She glares at me and uses her heat vision. I intercept it with mine, just a second before it hits me.

"You don't have to do this Reign. You can work with me. We can team up. I don't want to have to hurt you."

"You, hurt me? Ha. I would say the same to you, but I want to hurt you. The city needs someone who will fight for them the right way."

"You have messed up ideas if you think that killing is right. It's not the way that we work. Instead of inspiring hope, you're inspiring fear." We stop pelting each other with our heat vision and she steps toward me.

"Fear gets people to stop doing crimes, not hope. You do nothing that works. You catch the criminals and lock them up. They should die for their crimes, not rot in jail. If you work with me, we can stop the criminals. We can rule the world."

I shake my head. "No, Reign. I don't want to rule the world. I just want to prevent people from getting hurt. You want justice, but killing is not the answer." She shakes her head.

"Since we can't work together, I guess I have to kill you." She jumps forward and tries to stab me with the knife. I stop her with my free hand, using the one with the dagger to stab her. She intercepts me with her free hand though and now we're both just trying to overpower the other. She starts to win, my wrist bending at a weird angle. I have to think fast.

I fly upwards to startle her and it works. I get distracted though when Alex and Mon-El are suddenly on the roof. What are they doing? I'm so distracted, I don't see it when Reign is flying toward me. She rams into me and we fall onto the roof. I can hear the cement crunch under me.

"It's time for you to go, Supergirl." Reign yells. She aims the knife toward my heart and I drop the dagger, using both hands to grab the knife. I grab the blade and hold on tight. The knife cuts into my hands and makes it hard to keep a good grip. Just as it's about to plunge into my chest, I manage to move it downward where it plunges into my stomach.

At first I don't feel anything and then it's like everything lights up with pain. It feels like everything is on fire. There's a roaring in my ears and my vision starts to go fuzzy. I see Alex stab Reign in the back and push her away. Mon-El comes and yanks the knife out of my stomach. That just makes the pain worse. I see the blue that had filled the knife, starting to fade away.

Mon-El starts putting pressure on my wound and yells something to Alex, jerking his head toward my right. She goes over to Reign and pulls off her mask. Alex's eyes widen and then everything goes black.
