The Unusual Cullen

Turning

The moment Ursula lost consciousness, Emily pulled her phone out and dialed Billy's number.

"Emily? Is everything alright?" Billy asked.

"No. Is Jacob there?"

"No."

"When he gets there, tell him to find Sam. It's urgent."

.....

No more than a few minutes later, Jacob and Sam burst through the door.

"Are you alright?" Sam asked, frantically looking her over.

"I'm fine. It's Ursula."

Emily then proceeded to tell the two what happened. Jacob looked over at Ursula. In the short time he's known her, she's started to changed his opinion on vampires. Well, some vampires.

"We have to contact the Cullens. Jacob, see if you can talk to Bella. Tell her that the Cullens need to come to the treaty line. Emily, help me get her in the truck."

The Cullens waited anxiously at the treaty line. When Edward said that Bella called and told him that something was wrong with Ursula, they felt dread wash over them. When Edward also mentioned that she was on the reservation at Sam's, Rosalie snarled. No one, and I mean NO ONE, hurt her baby sister.

They relaxed a little when Sam pulled up in his truck. But when he and Emily pulled an unconscious Ursula out of the truck, it took all of Carlisle and Jasper's strength to hold Rosalie back.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY SISTER!?" Rosalie shrieked.

Emily told them what happened. Her voice betraying how she tried showing herself to the Cullens.

"Before she passed out, she said that it hurts, and for me to make it stop. I don't know a lot on vampires, but I know this isn't normal."

Emmett gathered Ursula in his arms, nodding at Sam.

"Thank you, Sam." Carlisle said.

When the Cullens arrived home, Emmett took Ursula up to her room. He gently layed her on her bed, and backed away.

"Carlisle, what's wrong with her?"

"I don't know. I just hope she wakes up."

Ursula 'slept' through the next few days. The Cullens feared for her life. They all took turns staying with Ursula. Rosalie even went as far as dressing her every day. Edward took it the hardest.

Ursula was the only one who could smack Edward upside the head if he did something stupid (besides Esme). She was the only one who take his car, and go for a joyride in it. Ursula was the little sister the he'd always wanted. He wanted so desperately to help her, but Enchantress guarded Ursula's mind like it was the lost city of Atlantis.

Alice however, even without her visions, knew Ursula would be waking up soon.

Ursula wandered through a dark hall, scared and confused. Her clothes were torn, and tattered.

"Hello? Is anyone there?"

She gripped her dress, and carried on, until she saw a light illuminating a white door. She hesitated before walking up to it.

'Freedom awaits'

Just as she placed her hand on the handle, a voice called out to her.

'STOP!'

She turned around, and saw her parents. They looked the same to her, like they had the last time she saw them.

'You must not go through that door, sweetheart.' Her mother said.

'Why not?' She asked.

'If you go through that door, you won't be able to stay with us. Come home sweetie.' Her father pleaded.

'Why? What's through door?' Ursula asked.

'It doesn't matter sweetie. Don't you want to be with us?' Her mother asked.

'I do. More than....wait.'

She looked behind her 'parents' and couldn't find her brother.

'Where is Damien?'

'He's already waiting for us. We just need you.' Her dad said.

'Ursula stop!'

She turned back around to see herself, but in strange clothing.

'You can't go with them.'

Ursula looked at her 'twin', unsure.

'If you go with them, you won't be able to stay with your family.'

'But they are my family.'

'Ursula, don't listen to her.' Her mom said.

'If they were truly your family, they wouldn't be making you go. They'd make you stay. The Cullens are your family now. If you leave, it could have ramifications of the worst kind. You wouldn't want to make Carlisle and Esme sad, would you?'

Rosalie walked into Ursula's room with a fresh stack of clothes. The others were out hunting, and Rosalie -- along with Emmett -- opted to stay behind with Ursula.

Rosalie set the clothes on a chair, and moved to change Ursula, when Ursula sat up. Gasping for air.

"Emmett! Call Carlisle! Tell him Ursula's awake!"
