Why?

It had been a couple of weeks since Ursula woke up. She hated the fact that she had been rendered sightless. She could still get around fine, due to the familiar scents that lingered in the house. The only help that she really needed was choosing clothes.

That's one thing she had the least trouble dealing with. The thing she had the most trouble with, was not being able to talk with Enchantress. She was so used to having the celestial being in her head. She felt alone, and scared.

But she had to put that behind her. The newborn situation was getting worse. Alice saw a vision, that told her the new borns would be coming to Forks. Which meant having to work with the wolves. It was something that neither her, nor Rosalie wanted but had to deal with.

......

Ursula stood with Rosalie, as she listened to Jasper and Emmett spar. She smirked when Emmett landed on his back. She chuckled when he wanted to go again.

"Just face it Emmett. Jasper won."

Soon after, Edward arrived with Bella in Emmett's jeep.

"The wolves are coming." Ursula said.

Emmett walked over to Rosalie, and Ursula. Placing a hand on each of their shoulders. Ursula entwined her hand with Rosalie's, wanting as much contact with someone as possible.

"They don't trust enough to be in their human forms." Edward said.

"They came. That's all we could ask," Carlisle asked. "Will you translate?"

Ursula shifted, causing Rosalie to tighten her grip.

"Welcome," Carlisle started. "Jasper has experience with Newborns. He'll teach us how to defeat them."

Sam let out a soft growl.

"They want to know how the newborns differ from us." Edward said.

"They are what their name emplies -- newborns," Ursula said. "Much like human newborns, they can't control their thoughts and actions."

"In addition, they're much stronger than us. Due to their own blood lingering in their tissue. This lasts for a year, before their strength levels out."

"Carlisle and Ursula are right. That's why they are...created. Newborn armies don't need thousands like a human army, and no human army can stand against them. When fighting a newborn, prevent them from wrapping their arms around you. They'll crush you instantly. Secondly, don't go for the obvious kill. They'll expect it, and you will loose. Emmett!"

Emmett walked over, giddy to have another go at Jasper.

"Don't hold back." Jasper said.

"Not in my nature."

Even though she couldn't see, Ursula still enjoyed Emmett and Jasper sparing. Emmett would start out fine, but would soon get cocky and loose. Emmett switched places with Carlisle and Edward, then Rosalie went, then Alice. When it was Esme's turn, Ursula bet against Emmett who would win. She lost, but she didn't mind. All she had to do, was wear an article of clothing she didn't like wearing.

When the demonstration was over, Jasper and Carlisle explained a few more things to the wolves before letting them leave. Ursula went to get the jeep with Bella when Edward spoke up.

"Sam told me to tell you that Emily misses you, and that you can come to their house anytime you want."

"Okay, thanks Edward."

'It was definitely gonna be a long week for me.' Ursula thought.
