Chapter 21 Fall into my arms instead

Jack's POV

alex hasn't woken up and it has been three days. My head was hurting due to lack of sleep and my stomach was turning around in my body. My eyes were all red and puffy and my hair. Oh god my hair was horrible and flat on my head. I looked at alex. He still managed to look beautiful. That bastard. I touched his hair and moved it out of his hair. I rubbed his cheek with my thumb. You better wake up i thought. My hand travled down to his and i grabbed his hand. I felt tears start to well up in my eyes. A tear fell and landed on the bed causing the sheet to soak in the water. I layed my head down on our hands. "Alex, i miss you so much. And i feel like such a loser for not being able to tell you this while you are well and awake. But alex gaskarth i am in love with you." i said crying. "You are the reason i wake up everyday. I don't even know how i got myself into this situation. I don't know how i let myself fall for you alex. I tried not too. But it happened And if you knew i know you would be disgusted." i said. "But i am so in love with you it hurts. Ever since we met i fell in love with those eyes.But it's..it's stupid i know." i said wiping my tears away. "It's stupid because well..let's face it. I'll never have a chance with you." i said sniffling. I stopped crying and just laid my head on our hands still holding on to him. I removed my head after a while and let go of his hand. I sat back on the chair and took a deep breathe. I then heard a slight noise. I sat up and looked around. Then i heard another noise only this time it came from alex. I couldn't believe it.

"Alex." i said. He turned his head and looked at me. "Alex oh my god you're awake. Oh my god alex i missed you so much! they, they said you wouldn't wake up. I though you wouod never wake up." i was looking at me like a child looking up at their mother."Jack." He said in one solid breathe. I began to cry He tried moving but couldn't. "I can't." he said crying.I looked up at him."Lex no don't cry. Alex because of you i am alive.Alex i cannot thank you enough." I said. He shook his head "Jack it's because of me." he said. He couldn't look at him in the eyes. He looked down making a tear fall from my face. "Jack this is all my fault." He said not looking up. I pushed my chair back and got up. He looked up to him. He watched as I scooted his lifeless body over and I sat next to him on the bed. "But alex you did." I said grabbing him kissing his head. I wrapped my arm around him. "I though i would never see you jack." He said burying his face into my chest. "It's ok alex." I said still hugging him. I heard a door open slightly. "Jack, hun we have to go co-" then they stopped. It was cassadee. "ALEX OH MY GOD. YOU ARE AWAKE." she said everyone then soon began walking in and the room was filled. Then the bitch nurse walked in but cassadee finally grew some and told her off. It was all going by so fast i was just happy that alex was awake. Then someone pointed out the flowers. There were maybe more than 50 flowers no lie. I furiously looked down my face burning red as the guys told the story of how i freaked and bought a shit ton of flowers. The attention was finally taken away and alex slightly nudged me causing me to take my attention away from matt and zack play fighting. He whispered to my ear "Thanks for getting me more flowers, daisy's kinda suck." he said. "I knew you'd say that." i said. Everyone was walking when tue doctors walked in saying alex was good to go. "Well alright, jack you stay with him. I changed our last hometown date to tomorrow so for today we are good. When you've changed head down to the bus. I got a hotel for all of us we will chill for a bit then around 8 ish we will all go eat." matt said. We all shaked our heads. "Sounds good." with that they left and i gave alex his clothes. He changed whilst i waited and we opened the door and slowly walked side by side to the elevator. I put my hands in my pockets and alex akwardly fixed his beanie. We got to the elevator and i clicked the down button waiting for the elevator doors to open. "Hey umm..i just, i wanted to um..nevermind." alex said. I looked at him confused. The elevator doors opened and we both got in. I could hear alex moving next to me. I looked at him and he looked to the ground. "Lex is everything ok?" i asked. He looked at me and a faked a smile noddding. He looked at the elevator doors expectingly awaiting them to open while he bit his bottom lip trying not to..cry? I did what my instincts told me to do and i grabbed his hand interlocking it with my own. It's now or never i thought to myself. And damn was it now.This is going to sound cliche but our hands fit perfectly together. Butterflys were filling my stomach and the electricity was passing from the interaction with his hand. He looked down at our hands and then at me. He sqeezed them tighter and took a deep breathe. The elevator doors opened and we walked out hand in hand to the bus with no words spoken to eachother. God did this feel right. We opened the bus door and everyone stopped talking and looked at us holding hands. Then they all smiled. Matt then broke the silence "Alright were ready!" he screamed to our bus driver. With that the bus eas moving and i was smiling like the biggest idiot.

AJDJZJCNAKV AHHH UPDATE FINALLY I HAD TO RE WRITE THIS ALL BC MY PHONE DID SOME WEIRD GLITCH AND TURNED OFF AND I DIDNT SAVE IT SO IT ALL DELETED AND I GOT SO LAZY AFTER THAT AJCJJSVVKⓐⓢNKⓐⓢN  BUT YAY.
