Alex's POV

Jack grabbed onto my hand and i won't lie it felt a bit akward at first. But the feeling it gave off was more of a comfort feeling. I looked down at our hands and squeezed them. Then highschool hit back.

*****flashback*****

"Haaha Jackkkk!" i screamed as he kept tickling me. "Stoooop." i said trying to push his hands away. He just continued but then turnt on his side and stopped looking up at the sky. I looked at his face propping myself on my elbows. "I wish we could stay here forever." he said. We were on his rooftop looking at the stars as they glistened. Twinkling making the sky look brighter. We would always do this. "I know." i said looking at him. He looked at me back and i stared into his eyes. He smiled and at that moment i felt peace. He turned back around and looked at the sky. I smiled and layed back putting my hands behind my head looking up.

Im in love now.

**flashback over**

The feeling came back all of a sudden. My highschool crush. The boy i fell in love with. Here i am years later coming to realization that i never got over him. The elevator doors snapped me back and we both walked out hand in hand to the bus. We walked in and everyone stopped talking and looked at our hands smiling. Matt then told our driver we were good and we drove off to the hotel. I swinged our hands and i looked at jack. "Can i um..talk to you?" i asked. He smiled "Of course." i let go of his hand instantly feeling the warmth dissappear. I walked to the back feeling him behind me. I closed the door and sat on the couch. He followed and sat looking at me. I uhm..i don't really know how to say this." i said stuttering. What an idiot. I Fixed my beanie and slid my fringe to the side. "So you remember in highschool when i first moved schools?" i said. HE nodded and looked at my face trying to read my expressions. Ha damn was the ac off or something? My palms began to get sweaty. "Well you were my very first friend. And you wore that blink 182 shirt and i wore that green day shirt." i said. "And the um-" i akwardly coughed and motioned to my head. "- the beanie aswell." He laughed a bit. " Alex what the fuck are you on about?" he said. "Jack i -"  i was then cut off by rian. Fuck. "HEEEEYY HOW ARE MY Two BESTFRIENDS?" he said throwing himself on the couch. I sighed. "Great." i said. he wrapped his arms around my waist."I missed you alex." he said. I smiled and patted his arm. "I missed you to ri." i said. "Sooo i didn't inturuppt anything right?" he said letting go motioning to me and jack. "Actually i kinda need to talk to jack real quick." i said. "Oh of course i'll be righ back then." he said getting up and leaving. Silence. "Alex i need to tell you something." jack said. "I do too." i said. "No alex you don't understand." he said. "Jack i have to let it out already." i said. He sighed. "We will say it at the same time then ok?" he said. I bit my lip and nodddd. This is fucking it. My heart was beating faster and my palms were like an ocean of sweat. "O-ok on the count of three." i said. He nodded. "One." we both said. "Two. "Three."
