Chapter 18 And i still love him

I drove through the other side of jack's street. I could see off in the distance lisa's car parking i sped up trying to get there faster. I parked my car a few houses away and hopped off running to jack's house. I saw lisa get out the car with a bag and i saw holly get off the passanger seat. Wait..holly? I kept running not even realizing how fast i was going. It felt as if the more i ran the slower i went. I Saw them get into the house and i lost it. I ran as fast as i could and i went up his driveway. I ran into the house and i heard nothing. Then i heard rustling upstairs. I quickly went up the stairs but got hit with something very hard at the top of the stairs. I immediatly fell and winced in pain grabbing onto my head. I looked up and saw holly. "Hey alex. Missed me?" she said in such a sweet tone. I flicked her off and got up pulling her leg in the process causing her to fall on her bum. She made a noise and i looked down at her as she layed in pain. "Not at all my love." i said to her running through the hallway. I checked all the bedrooms and nothing. Then i heard glass breaking. I ran into the bathroom and the mirror was broken i saw lisa ontop of jack holding a glass to his neck. I ran to her and with force swung her body off of him causing her to hit her head in the sink falling to the gound infront of the door. I went to jack and knelt down. "Jack, jack are you ok?" i asked him as i saw him shaking with fear. He grabbed onto my shoulders and pulled himself into a sitting position. He looked me in the eyes and then hugged me. I held onto him as if my life depended on it. I could feel his tears on my neck. "Jack we need to leave." i said hearing him cry. I grabbed him and He wrapped his legs around my waist and i picked him up. I turned around to leave but i didn't see lisa's body at the doorway. shit. I quickly ran down the stairs and put jack on the couch grabbing my phone. "Call the cops and run to the car. It's four houses away. Get in lock the doors and go to the backseat hiding underneath." i said to him as i saw his hands shakingly typing in the number. I kissed his forhead and ran upstairs. I checked all the rooms but nothing. Great. I ran down and saw lisa hiding behind a bookshelf. I then saw jack heading towards the door. It suddenly all slowed down. I began to run to lisa but saw her pull out a gun. "jack!" i screamed jumping infront of the aim hearing the gunshot. Everything was in slow motion.My arm then felt warm. I could hear screams and i touched my shoulder feeling a substance pouring out. I looked to my side as i layed on the ground.I could see jack running at lisa swinging his fist at her. I saw his fist collide with her chin as he uppercut her causing her to fall unconciouse to the floor. I could see the anger filling up in him. "HOLLY!" i sorta screamed to him and he turned around punching her in the side then hitting her again. She then also followed lisa. Jack ran to me and everything went back to normal. It all sped up. I could here the sirens outside as he grabbed onto me his hands being covered in my blood. My eyes then felt heavy and they fluttered shut. Suddenly i was being  lifted into a bed and carried out jack following aside crying. I heard a fimilar voice and opened my eyes. It was matt. Alex you- you'll be fine i promise." he said. I looked at him with one eye being an effect of the bright sun. I opened my mouth to speak "Romeo saved him." i said to him. He smiled at me pushing some strands out of my face placing his hand on my cheek. Tears fell from his eyes. "Matt i'll be fine." I said. He nodded biting his lip to not cry. "I'll see you soon kay?" he said. i noded and closed my eyes. I was then lifted up and i was inside the ambulance. What the hell just happened. Paremdics were putting oxygen tanks on me and placing gauzes on the hole in my arm. Did this just happen?
